Usually I discovered matangi maa , she likes every food healthy , sour , spicy and even wasted food also !! I like it very much , she will take it lovingly what you offer her with love and devotion. She will be very happy even if you have nothing but praising her with love and devotion. I remembered my grandmother , her name was matangimayi , she loved me very much , inside a large banayan tree we laughed and grandma tells me story and I sleeping in her lap. We often steal biscuit and cakes in kitchen hahaha good memories still in mind ! I call her "amma" when I was little , but sadly I lost my matangi devi when I was at the age of 20. Amma where ever you live , stay happy there ,

Its ironic, I’m currently reading the book Awakening Shakti, and so every couple of days I find myself working on another goddess. Today was Kali’s week and somehow the more I listened to the mantras for Kali the more I ‘wasn’t feeling it.’ Lo an behold I thought I was playing a mantra for Kali and alll of sudden within minutesI began to feel a lightness in my home. The air seemed brighter. The stove was shiny. Its hard to describe but even my skin felt lighter on my body. So I ran tot he computer to see what was playing and it was this mantra. After reading more about Matangi I feel as though she was waiting to be called. Thank you.
