Awesome hike with your daughter and Mickey. Lots of obstacles make it a fun adventure. ❤ Great job on the rock scrambling. We always say the same thing about the vultures and how they must be circling overhead while waiting for one of us to keel over. 😂 Nice try, Mickey! It's more about the journey and not the final destination. Great video!

@@flynorthproductionsyour welcome. Hummingbirds are back here today. Put out some cut oranges, waiting for oriole that visits every year. Hoping I don't get a beaver in my pond this year. In the spring the males go out and seek a new area to start a family. If you don't deal with them they will disappear for about two weeks and bring back a girlfriend with them. Then you got two and possibly more in time. have to be careful with your dog around them. They will draw dog out into the water and bite the underparts of the dog. When dog is bleeding the beaver will jump on the dogs head and drown it. The beaver has superior agility and strength in the water. Many years ago I watched a beaver taunting my dog on the shore of my pond. The beaver will come up to the edge of the pond and when the dog approaches he will back up bit by bit luring the dog in. I was able to scare the beaver away. The poplar trees are a beautiful translucent light green colour now. Quite the show, but won't last long. Have a great day. John

Lol! Yeah, I like to bravely assess things from a safe distance. Mick rarely refuses to do something so he definitely didn't like those rocks. Hi Mr. Fly Excuse my absence due to my filming trip and just got back Nice to have an assistant, right? Oh..yes tell me about making hard decision. Did you see me fall by the waterfall? hahahhah The rock formations are quite challenging to climb for even us. There is always another time .. Well done Mr. Fly. May I ask what is your "to go camera lens?" Do you take extra lens? if so, what size are they? I appreciate it. See you next one..

Hi. Thanks for watching and commenting. I use an inexpensive Akaso Brave 7 action camera for most of my filming. It does not have an interchangeable lens so I'm pretty limited to what I can shoot. Thanks again for watching.

That looked like a challenging hike alright... but at least you got to work on your macro photography @ 0:11. :p Hopefully no damage to the camera...? Good call to skip the summit and to enjoy the view from the 'almost summit'. Plans change and that's OK! Always better safe than sorry. Cheers!
@flynorthproductions6 ай бұрын
Thanks! Yes, that was quite the macro shot. No damage this time, surprisingly. But the lens cover does have a significant crack from a previous fall yet it doesn't seem to affect the quality of the video somehow. I'm looking forward to your next one. Cheers! ~ Daryl

Great Hike Thank You Daryl the Scenery is Beautiful that was some steep Hike up the Mountain and some Rocky too. 🙂❤👍Hey Daryl what kind of Camera do you use for Vlogging and do you use a DJI Mic for Recording??? 🙂❤👍Watching from NB Canada🙂🙂🙂
@flynorthproductions6 ай бұрын
Thanks Robert, yes the scenery really is spectacular for this region. I use an Akaso Brave 7 for the video and most of the audio is captured from its internal mic. From time-to-time, I'll get my cell phone out to record some ambient sounds, or video, or photos. The Brave 7 doesn't work with external mics like the DJI, and its own wired proprietary mic is not very good at all so the internal one does most of my recording. My over-dubbed narration is done at home with a much better microphone. I do have cheap version of the DJI style wireless mic that I'm starting to use while paddling on the water to mitigate wind noise, but the jury's still out on that gear. I also use a Hohem gimbal for my camera, it's an absolute must to keep the video from being too shaky. Hope this helps, if you want more information, give me a shout. Thanks! ~ Daryl
