Being a servant of Nurgle is like being so obese, so much of a hopeless alcoholic, living in utter filth, you've ceased caring. No dignity. No self respect. It's like the despair part of jerking it to hentai and furry porn, so lacking in dignity and respect your room smells, your body smells, you've stopped caring. It is to be a femcel haranguing other fat women who are bedridden and want to start losing weight so they at least can walk on their own again, and calling these women "fatphobic." THAT is Nurgle. It is a disgusting ruinous power for a reason. I like Tzeentch. I'd rather go with Tzeentch. Slaanesh is a horrible idea mainly for as you can guess, behaviour of Dark Eldar is the type of thing that caused that. People think of tame fetishes, not realizing Slaanesh is more like baby raep. And then finding that too "tame." Slaanesh isn't about the melting down a whole population into adrenochrome for the high; slaanesh is about the sheer BOREDOM of it all after you ran out of peasants to render down into amusing drugs. Slaanesh isn't about the pleasure of addiction; slaanesh is the boredom of addiction, the suffering of withdrawal. So while Slaanesh sounds like a great runner up on paper, Slaanesh is one of the hardest passes. I'll still pass hard on Nurgle though. Khorne at least maybe the suffering at last will be over. The problem with Nurgle is the suffering NEVER is over, you simply get used to the despair; on Nurgle, you just get so used to being depressed you forget what life without crippling depression even feels like.

I think the grim darkest thing about warhammer (as a newcomer to it) is the fact that those below emperor are no better off than those below chaos gods… in actual fact, every walk of life is doomed to chaos in one way or another. The god emperor is just better at disguising it as a just cause

It is tragic and terrible and sad on nearly all levels when you look closer. If there is a hero or someone who tries to make it better, then you know that they will soon be punished. Usually by death or worse. (Edit: even and especially the Emperor) Although that is also because of the scope we get to see. I am certain that there is space where someone could live good and without war. Theoretically. For a generation or two. But that just is not the topic xD

Nurgle is the only one that lets you enjoy the "gifts" and attention given. Sure from the outside it's terrible. But if one of Nurgle's chosen, you delight in what would be suffering to anyone else. With Slaanesh, I'm only really immune to my own fetishes. Khorne doesn't make me immune to pain. Tzeencth will screw himself over if he wins for too long.

In the Warhammer 40k universe there is no God. So there is no morality, and there is no justification for what humans know to be right or wrong. It's why the Imperium of Man is so sad because they have to worship something, and instead they choose the false idol of a man who essentially dedicated his life (unsuccessfully) to eradicate the human desire to worship. He found out that if we cannot worship the divine, we will worship the profane and the mundane.
