Idk, prince's are imbued with a portion of the gods own power whereas never born daemons are manifestations of that gods will, they are when they die they either reform or return to that God as essence. A prince is typically autonomous vs a daemon operating under sets of rules.

The difference is, a chaos spawn is when the Warp overflows you, and a Prince is gifted by the Gods. So the process to gain either is the same, but you should resist the dangerous corruption, especially of your mind. So becoming a conduit of Chaos and becoming its servant is not the same

Could someone explain why there's always an emphasize on CSMs being "just a pawn in The Great Game"? I don't really see how it's any different from a loyalist Space Marine being a "pawn" to the Imperium/Emperor or a Tau being one to "The Greater Good" or Ethereals.

The Chaos Gods are fighting each other as much as they are the material realm. "The Great Game" is their higher purpose, so it's pretty much just like what you said. Most CSM are as disposable as a Guardsmen or Fire Warrior.

Lol that'd be nice of Nurgle. Unfortunately, I think Nurgle is a manifestation of how people perceive and fear disease. And the diseases that stir the emotions to manifest Nurgle are disfiguring, debilitating, disgusting, and overall destructive.

Nurgle like the rest of chaos can't make long term plans. The disease would manifest it in the next paragraph like all the rest. Even if that's years down the line. Imperial tech is actually decent at finding and stopping diseases as the story needs.

17:23 - Showing my age a bit, but I remember when (early 90's) Chaos Terminators first got a Reaper Autocannon model, around the same time as Chaos got dreadnoughts (original ones, long before Defilers); I swear they one the sickest models to don the table top, w/ the weapons, runes, tusks and skull rack!! Except the Autocannon and Power-Fist were on the opposite arms! 17:43 - ... and that is something I only ever dreamed of seeing a Chaos Terminator dual-wielding Reaper Autocannon's! Nurgle's Chaos Terminators are just firepower sponges; necrotic, blood-soaked, pus-filled sponges!! >XD If I was Nurgle I'd bestow my most virulent disease/s (one's with long, symptomless incubation periods) to extremely attractive, charismatic men and women, free of Blight or blemish, where they could spread the disease, unnoticed in them or those that they met, to the lowest of the low to the highborn. The diseases' spread would be glorious, death abounding and the long symptomless incubations periods would just sew general chaos and disorder! Hail Nurgle and the Ruinous Powers!!
