Chaos historically punches above it's weight in the CBC - but in this case, bad matchup. DRulers care not at all about Crush and the hand ripping, negating Chaos's biggest advantage, and Chaos is completely unable to win a grind game.

Can’t believe chaos was able to even get one out of this! I used to play test chaos vs rulers for fun. Got stomped like 9 out of 10. Dracosack/stardust and pass is pretty much over.

10:05 I Never understand this. Why call 3-4, every single card in the deck is better in your hand than in your GY. All the Dragon Rulers can still SS themselves from the hand, plus they can use the in hand effects as needed, plus you don't have a higher chance of milling Spell/Trap cards that are completely useless in the GY.

The idea is that both mill 5-6 and draw 3-4 are both really good. Mill 3-4 is sorta ok and draw 5-6 is overkill. So by choosing 3-4 you have a 66% chance at a great outcome, while by choosing 5-6 you only have a 33% chance for an amazing outcome.

I feel like the OCG Chaos from back then is much stronger, as we saw in one of the earlier CBCs :) Some bad luck with the Mirage discards...but let's be honest, Chaos was never gonna win this 😅🙈

In term on explosivity and combos both decks are on equal terms, the problem is the grind game on which Rulers have the advantage.

@@kingvegeta7868 Rulers won in a grind game. And there were a few of those matches where the right draws couldve properlled them to victory. Otherwise the games went on for quite some time and misplays couldve quite easily occured on the part of the rulers side.

Yeah. Chaos had an uphill battle to have any chance in this one. Toadally HERO FTW, 3-2! Heroes are going to have the benefit of side decks and better backrow removal.

I've started watch a couple months ago, but what is cross-banlist and how long does it take to finish, and is it every year?

A little under a year, every time, about 1 or 2 uploads per week, max of about 78 matches.

Every year. Starts from Either Jan or Feb or even March and always ends in December. So basically 9 to 12 months in other words. Cross Banlist is a tournament (Not an Official one btw) made by Lithium (Channel Owner) to do challenges between decks from different eras against each other to see who has the advantage It's always best of 5 matches. He includes Old School decks, Recent decks and even decks from in-between such as Pepe from 2015 for example. Neither it's an old school nor a recent deck He tries to include TCG or OCG variant of a certain deck based on which one is stronger. For example he included OCG Tri-Brigade over TCG one because OCG one is better since it has Maxx C. And he always takes suggestions from comments section into consideration If people think a certain deck is bad or missing something, They comment about it and Lithium eventually changes the list into a better one which includes all the changes the comments section suggested

its hilarious how bad chaos is. everyone always hypes it up but it just got stomped by dragon rulers. and dragon rulers themselves are also terrible compared to pepe, adamancipator etc so to be trashes by rulers just speaks volumes

Rulers have a very good matchup vs chaos specifically too. Rulers all play from the grave and were insane at the time because they were more consistent with better grind game than everything else chaos is good because they have a number of cards which effortlessly go plus one and had the best boss monsters ever printed for the next decade and a half

Yata is a good deck for anything pre 2015 standards. Being hard countered by a specific deck isnt their fault
