Quick Lore: Chaotic Gore is a Gore Magala who’s transformation to Shagaru Magala, was interrupted by another Shagaru Magala spreading its frenzy. The two conflicting frenzy virus halt Gore’s transformation, causing it IMMENSE pain, and rage. Giving it the deformed look, that it has now. Which explains why they used words such as “Why have I fallen?” in Chaotic’s intro, because he was so close to his Shagaru Magala form but got a worse malformation.

@@gojigiante I dunno, it all feels like a bad fan-fic written by some high school student, but it would be pointless to point all of the silly parts, it just pales in comparison to lore from From games (not a fan of these games but credit where it's due), it's bizarre that a multi-millionaire company like Capcom can't hire half-decent writers to give this great franchise an equally great world building and lore (not need to turn it into The Witcher or anything)

MH has some of the BEST lore for its fictional monsters, fromsoft is good and all but it doesn’t compare to how amazingly done MH lore is. Again, I have no idea what’s so cringe? It is literally a Gore Magala inflicted with the frenzy from a Shagaru Magala, interrupting its transformation and giving it a deformed form. Like you have a guy named the “Dungeater” but no, Chaotic Gore Magala is “cringe”. Regarding world building, Capcom has great world building for MH. Like how the rotten vale was created by a Shara born where a giant Dalamadur died. Or how Shagaru Magala wiped out all life on a mountain.

I think DG missed the point that if your frenzy virus status turns blue,the long sword will have 65% more affinity,that’s because the weapon had two affinity,-30% and +15%,so if the status turn blue,both affinity will stack due to the negative 30 affinity will turn into positive affinity and that’s 30+15 and +20 for the frenzy status,with crit eye,this will be one of the highest affinity weapon if used correctly. Plus the armour that chaotic has with allow you to not die as long as your health is staying in red.And the other skill will increase affinity for your health in red so that’s really high affinity if you think about it.

The best part about it? There might be some builds of 100% crit without wexploit, meaning no matter where you hit, it's gonna be crit Chaotic weapons are just insane

Wait, both the negative affinity and the positive affinity stack when your cured from the frenzy virus? I thought you only got the + 15 affinity from the weapon when you beat the frenzy.

Chaotic weapons go great with the armor. They normally have -20% affinity (-35 + 15) but that changes when you overcome the Frenzy. The -35 changes to +35, and add that to the existing 15 for a weapon with 50% affinity by itself without any other skills. Add something like the extra affinity from beating the Frenzy, and some other skills, you can easily reach 100% crit without even using Weakness Exploit.

@@ZackReap I agree. MR MHR is definitely the most fun MH. I'd argue that the monsters are more difficult in this game that the others because of how fast and relentless they are. (I think MR MHR monsters are the fastest monsters in all MH) MR MHR only SEEMS easier because we have so many ways to evade and counter attacks. If we didn't have wirebugs and wirebugs techniques, no one would be talking about how less difficult the game is.

The weapons affinity is unique pretty much its random or the negative side at first but when your frenzied and overcome it the weapon will only use the positive affinity in your attacks

And in short for the armor Your a nearly immortal glass cannon some or most blights will cart you in blue scroll but despite the risk the damage pay off is amazing if you take the rest of chaos gore armor skills into account

The weapon, -30 Affinity is normal, but when you recover from frenzy it adds that -30 affinity to the positive side so, if I understand it correctly it would be 45% affinity when you recover from frenzy. At least from my short testing I think this is what it does. Its very good on Light bowgun, and I do like the longsword
