The entire point was that his dear friend, Daphne, who was a trans woman that opened up for him for a few shows, got dragged by the LGBTQ community for clarifying some of his jokes. After 6 days of being dragged by her own community she committed suicide. Dave was trying to explain that the power of the LGBTQ community had taken his friend. A friend he loved so much that he started a trust fund to support her daughter, who Daphne adored. This is the context. It is important to report fully or else you are just as bad as a FB alt-right algorithm.

This was a whole special that Dave did but we're focusing on a couple of minutes within it. Dave drew parallels the entire special to make an over arching point. Al touched on it in his response, how can we be outraged about one thing and not the other. Two things can exist at the same time and be true. So yes it can be divisive but what Dave spoke about exists and is true as well. To that point, is it him creating the divisiveness or is he pointing out what already exists and we find it difficult to digest. Bottomline selective outrage should be checked. It's a hard conversation that needs to be had and it's a part of the human experience that Dave quoted Daphne on that we all have in different ways and forms.

I have been fat my entire life and when I try to lose weight and live a healthy life I be fainting and falling out in public, and get sick. As a black woman who has struggled with my weight since 13 years old I find it very rude when people say “you’ve gained weight”, “are you sure you should be eating that”, “I know a diet you can go on that’s helped a lot of people”, “I’m glad you’ve lost weight because when I gain weight I would have a bad attitude too”. I’ve had medical problems that’s have made it hard for me to loose weight and I would never say something about somebody’s weight. Just because someone has gained weight doesn’t mean they aren’t happy with themselves or their life. Maybe I’m an asshole to you because I don’t like you and not because of my weight. The assumption that people are overweight just because they don’t care about their health is not okay. You don’t know if that person has been starving themselves and going hard in the gym but for whatever reason they can’t loose the weight. The last thing I need is someone who doesn’t know me or my situation saying some shit like Al said about being unhappy and morbidly obese. It’s very rude and disrespectful because it’s not coming from a place of love or understanding. It’s coming from a place of you’re fat and you need to loose weight and stop eating so much and start working out. I know plus size people who work out daily and eat clean but due to health issues their weight fluctuates a lot and makes it hard to burn and keep off fat.

1) Great show BUT on some topics Funky needs to do his homework because he def did miss the Dave assignment 2) Nikki Minaj might not be the best idea BUT she does watch RHOP and regularly comments the show on IG, she is very well acquainted with some RHOP and likes Karen, Wendy and Askale as she has commented on multiple episodes over the last few years 3) On the topic of Phaedra, Claudia, (I just happened to stumbled on Thepeachreport on IG) , don’t act like what you did was nice, it was shady, it was unwarranted, unwanted and negative asf, don’t be a karen aka don’t throw stones and then hide your hands. Please understand what bee is in her sixties, and she have a lot of health issues which have her taking medication that will put weight on you, trust me I know! I am not in my sixties like Whoopi, however I've had two major surgeries, because I injured my hip oh, my bad, let's just say the whole right side of my body and I have not been able to work out! I've had steroid shots in my back where I was put under four different times, and we all know steroids make you gain weight and let's not talk about the other medication, and on top of that I'm not able to work out so for a woman the weight can come on very quick! On top of that, Whoopi has bad knees! So I think it's very insensitive for anyone to set up and judge people weight because not everyone is meant to be a fucking stick figure! Let's be clear there are a lot of skinny unhealthy people in the world with no fucking muscle tone!
