I was 15 when this show came out, and it was painfully obvious how ahead of its time it was. I mean, they came out swinging with a sketch about a blind, black white supremist…there’s no way any other comedian could not only pull this off, but like you said, bring all sorts of different races together. To take such a taboo and turn it into a clever play on words was really pushing the boundaries of comedy in a way that everybody can laugh at this without offense.
