Thank so much for posting this video - my pain is excruciating caused by moving wrong when doing exercise with legs up and bent while on my back. Although I have had tailbone pain before this is the most severe and prolonged episode. It first started when I was 16 and bent down causing severe pain.

Thank you for posting about tailbone arthritis. I'm the person with the broken tailbone in three sections lodged erraticly over in the wrong place and the shattered sacrum. Yes, it's the arthritis that makes daily movement absolutely miserable.

I have had tailbone pain for 5 months and finally got an appointment for physio although I have been doing the exercises since early January and haven’t been running since December . It takes so long to get anywhere in the UK. I haven’t had a fall but have been a runner for 30 years so expect it it wear and tear.

I have a question about my pain. The pain comes on when I sit very long & it hurts to lay down on my back and right side any time I lay down. It seems to be in the lower part of my sacrum. I've had many epidural shots and physical therapy for si joint function & the L5/S1 area and nothing has helped. Could it be coccyx that is causing pain. If you think this could be the trouble I will make an appointment to come see you.

so glad to to find your video, June 2020 on morning I had sudden pain in coccyx and groin area. I rushed to Dr, MRI CT scan resulted arthritis in the 5 L Are they any exercise which could help please?

Thanku sir for making this video on coccyx arthritis.I m suffering from this since two years and searching for this condition since so long but not much data available on net.U said it very correctly that radiology dept should see it properly for coccyx.but in my case it is not happening.in first MRI they hv not checked for coccys only...again I did second MRI it was also same they just wrote on report that coccys is normal where as my XRay is showing complete dislocation of coccyx.Now I can't sit without my cushion for one minute also.Is there any another blod test to diagnose arthritis? Kindly suggest. Thanks ..

Dear doctor, can an epidural injection cause after many years the coccyx pain? Also could a fall on the coccyx at the age of 8 or 10, now am over 70, is causing the pain that am having since15 days now ? I would appreciate an answer, thank you

I can't buy this book because I don't have Amazon! My case is complex professor!! First of all, I hurt my tailbone at the bus stop, after taking three injections, I feel some better, however, I again fell down, my left but bruised, so again my tailbone hurts a I took another 3 injections and medication!! So professor I don't feel better fully yet!! It takes nearly two months!!😲😲

Hi doctor, 16 years ago. I was 12 years I fell from the hammock and hit my tailbone on the rock. It was very painful but I did not tell anybody. I kept to myself. I felt like the bone was fractured, when it was healing it felt like it very itchy inside so I was thinking maybe its was healing by itself. Took like 5 months before the pain disappeared, I thought everything was okay and back to normal but then I started noticing that my tailbone is sticking out, I can really feel it when I touch it but it looks like its the bone before the tailbone. It looks like I have a tail trying to grow but its not painful anymore. I can't even do sit up or lay down on my back on the flat hard floor coz that bone before the tailbone or maybe its the tailbone hit the floor first before my whole body. Its kind of depressing and makes me insecure about myself sometimes. I'm 29 now, is there anything I can do to fix it? Or maybe cut that bone sticking out? I'll appreciate your reply, thank you so much.

I have been told I have arthritis in coccyx and Si joints . I have been suffering with pain for 14 yrs now. Is it possible to get rid of pain ? I live in Ontario Canada is there a tailbone doctor in Ottawa or Toronto area? I guess I need to be referred to by my family doctor to see you or a Canadian doctor...like this pain to go away at least 50% less.

Doc, I think you need to pay your illustrator more money or find a new one... he or she's drawings are like something you would find in a kid Halloween book.. scary stuff... half ars lazy drawings..
