@Tyrannosaur6265 yess, his whole attitude here seems to portray a strong willed and honorable (or at least selfish) enough to not bend even in face off death. I think a villain like BB would just say yes and await the time for betrayal

I think Garling put Shanks on the chest as a flex, like he was so certain he would win he let one of his children be a prize But the fact that he put him there proves he must have been fine with losing him as well

This is a good theory. The mother theory also sounds possible. Garling gives me the impression that he values “shows of power” over basic human connections. He probably never cared about Shanks enough to go after him.

You know like, "Nyah" I think Harald is going to turn out to be a good guy, but he did want Loki to get rid of his horns, he was a gullible man who bought into a superstitious hatred of ancient giants, and he tried to make Loki get rid of his.

Wow, what a chapter and what a review! I'm glad OP healed you! I know why the guy is called Shamrock, he needed a posh name, but I still like Spanks better 😁 Btw, how do we know Shanks' name? I don't remember and he just seemed too young to be able to tell them. Is it possible that Roger somehow knew who he is? Maybe it was Garling who put Shanks into the chest, either out of arrogance or he didn't need him but honestly, who'd want to win a baby? They are absolutely useless, they need to be invested in a lot before they can be used as slaves, etc. ... The mother theory sounds more plausible for me. Or, what if they are not twins, what if Shamrock was older and he put Shanks into the chest. Either to get rid of the brother he doesn't need, or, if we want to give the benefit of the doubt to kid Shamrock, maybe he wanted to save his baby brother among the chaos? 🤔 I also wonder what is Oda's intention with introducing Shanks' brother so late in the story! And I also want Loki and Hajrudin to hug it out! I also want Sanji show kindness to Loki!

LOL its funny to see Mel trying to figure out a way for King Harald to be evil I think it was all a plot fabricated by the WG, King Harald really was looking for a peaceful Elbaf and Loki was not as bad as everyone said, but they were carefully put against each other so that King Harald ended up dead and Loki imprisoned Wouldnt that be tragic? And it opens the way for the WG to invade elbaf having their two strongest warriors out of the picture

How strong can the holy knights be if the government was relying on the warlords (and then the seraphim) to fend of the emperors?

I’d argue they are strong but due to their pompous mentality about their birthright they turn to the Warlords and Seraphim since they see the emperors as beneath them. They only get involved if it’s absolutely necessary of them or in the case of God Valley entertainment/involving their fellow Celestial Dragons. We see Garling act as a holy knight - once when he was at God Valley competing, and the final time dealing with Msjogard. They have to also be of significant strength for Imu to consider adding Garling into the ranks of the five elders.
