I'll also add to this by stating that the filter is trash. It's faulty, rarely (if ever) actually filters content worth filtering, and is easily bypassed when you have an 18+ account. cai should have made their app 17+ or 18+ and been done with it. they don't actually purge the bots that genuinely break their rules. i've had multiple NSFW bots in my recommended page, with various different kinks/fetishes for character bots. reporting these bots does nothing. the bots often have millions or hundreds of thousands of chats. so i find it hard to believe that if i report these bots, cai support doesn't notice. they just don't care. they just want to avoid another lawsuit and don't give a damn about being user friendly.

Well, I found ONE way to get past it...during when this happened, I didn't happen so suddenly even though I was still a minor in that damn age prompt that we can't get back to. "This Character is no longer available Please select a different Character" what it says. I thought of a little thing to get past it. I spam clicked on a previous chat I had in the history until it fully popped up on screen and pressed the refresh button. It worked since the message went away, but I'm not sure if it works literally ALL the time, but there you go. I'm not sure that there's a way to do it for bots you haven't talked to yet, but finding a way could be possible because of the bots that are now kept away from minors like most of us.

Tbh imo nobody should be using any character ai apps anyway. It's like an addiction that you can't get out of. People may use it to cope or for comfort, but in the end it is EXTREMELY unhealthy. And it's fueling more AI to make bad content too. This comment will probably be buried, but this is worth noting.

I mainly use it for roleplay and funny stuff. But i don't use it too much i use it once a day and play different games until tomorrow i use it. Is that unhealthy? Well i do go on walks and go outside and play soccor play call of duty the old one's in fact and play UNO anr Xbox with my parent's or siblings.

Literally I've seen bots that are like: "25, Helping you with homework, secretly has a crush on you" ... MULTIPLE TIMES, DIFFERENT BOTS AND ITS GENUINELY DISGUSTING.
