1) how much would it cost per-unit? 2) what's the shipping like? 3) what's the minimum unit requirement for said place? 4) can they make said produces by my specifications? 5) are there systems in place that I'm producted has a customer?

These were very cheap 7 years ago, just imagine how cheap they can make them now, and how much better these can be. Not sure if ICOO is still making tablets, others are for sure.

From past experience... if a company is chip agnostic then more due diligence is required. Electronic assemblers with direct relationships with either rockchip, all winner and etc tend to be of higher quality and have better connections with components suppliers so less downtime.

Hi - I recently bought two ICOO D50 lites directly from a China source and they both stopped working within 2 months (they just don't turn on). The Chinese source I found on aliexpress.com is not willing to help me or refund my money. Does anyone know how to maybe get it to boot up or reinstall the OS or something? I am no expert so any assistance, even remote connect would be appreciated!

Both of them, simultaneously? Have you tried doing a reset? (Depends on model, usually something like holding power or power+home button for 15 seconds) Have you tried them while plugged in (to rule out battery issues?) Does the power-indicator light come on when plugged in? Unfortunately that's the peril of doing business consumer-direct with Chinese distributors.. it's cheaper, but you lose that sweet buffer that is the American retailer :).. Customer service from Chinese manufacturers doesn't really exist on a consumer level. At a production capacity of 2,000pcs/day they're not really too worried about losing 1 person who MIGHT buy from them again in a few years :D. In most cases you're lucky if you get your order. Even luckier if it's actually the way it was described. There are definitely some great Chinese retailers/manufacturers, but with a basically blind purchase like AliExpress it's impossible to tell who you're getting it from.. especially when there're 1,000 new ones popping up daily.

I have three of them. d50 lites ..The first one worked great for a year, which I also bought online but not from aliexpress. It worked so well that I bought two more..They failed one after the other over a few months. I tried them plugged in and tried to press the buttons to do a reset but it seems like they were both just dead - no image, no response, no nothing...Like paperweights..I get what you are saying regarding the risk..Big waste of money it was....Any other thoughts are appreciated...Thanks for your help..
