The dead sea mud contains enough preservatives for the entire formula. But certainly can add an additional preservative like phenoxyethanol-SA or benzylalcohol-DHA.

You might be able to use it as a hair mask, but it will be quite drying since there aren't any plant oils or butters in it and the clay will make the hair feel even more dry. The ingredients in the mask base, oatmeal and allantoin, are beneficial to the skin and don't have much of an effect on the hair.

You may add small amounts of additional clay to that base, but I wouldn't go above 3-5%.

You cannot change your pore size. If your pores are enlarged because of dead skin, sebum, etc, then perhaps clay masks and BHAs can help return it to its normal size. But it's misleading to say that it can reduce pore size.

Sethamphetamine number 1 that’s rude,,, but number 2 pores never change size. there is no muscles to retract and expand their size. they can appear larger when clogged with oil and dead skin, and the skin around them can soften when it absorbs water (like in a bath) which is why steam is used in facials. but there is no way to make a pore lessen in size, they don’t work like that
