DIY self-tanning mousse. Colored Mousse for easy application. Gives a light to medium tan.
How to Use:
Shake before use. Exfoliate skin first, then pump and apply the light mousse onto skin and rub-in. Wait a few minutes until absorbed then dress. Color develops gradually, for a deeper color apply again the next day. Do not shower within 6h of application.

Phase B
Decyl Polyglucose (Surfactant) 4.0%
Coco Betaine (Surfactant) 2.0%
Lactic Acid (Acidulent) 0.1%
Citric Acid (Acidulent) 0.1%
Glyceryl Oleate (not shown in video) (Emulsifier) 0.5%
Benzyl Alcohol/DHA (Preservative) 0.8%
Phase C
Caramel (Colorant) 0.4%
D&C Red 40 (Colorant) 0.1%
Distilled Water (Diluent) 10.0%
Fragrance or your choice (Fragrance) 0.5%
Method:
Add ingredients in phase A, one by one into the mixing vessel. Blend after each ingredient.
Add phase B to phase A, one by one, stirring gently after each ingredient. Pre-disperse phase C (water and colorants). Test the shade. Add more d&c red 40 for a bronze color and more caramel for a walnut color. When desired color is achieved, add drop wise to the tanning solution and blend well. Add fragrance (optional).
Test pH. Ideal 3.5-4.5. Make adjustments if necessary. Then fill the tanning solution into a foamer pump bottle.
