I make that joke in my head that if the avatar is the bridge between the spirit world and the physical world then Jesse is the tea avatar who acts as the bridge between China/Taiwan and the rest of the world.

Have you thought about opening up an in-person tea shop where people can taste your online selection and where you can sell tea and merch/accessories in a physical location?

@@jessesteahouseThe move here is to wait until the store is doing well enough that you can buy a house. Then you can do a "by appointment only" tea house situation either on a backyard patio or in your dining room. The primary thing to worry about is making whatever space you make the tea house have its own ingress/egress.

@@jessesteahouseyour best bet would be to open it on the east coast, probably not west, Jersey maybe not to far but close enough to NYC that you'll get native and tourist attraction, maybe a bunch of surveys are needed to see where your demographic lies, Unbiased thought opinion 🫣 👀 lol 😂 .. that could be years from now ! Keep doing what you do best and follow that gut !!

Before or after they are cut off from speaking or rather finishing the thought. Maybe Jesse is just overenthiastic and or nervous but it seems to be common with guests tea people or not.

On the topic of "who made this" for teas, I genuinely would love a book that just lists all the names of people who were involved in the process of making the finished product. That would add to the experience to me

You should try "Ceylon tea". There are different types of tea. Ceylon tea refers to tea produced in the highlands of ' Sri Lanka' 🇱🇰 . It's available in oolong, green, white, and black tea varieties. Aside from being rich in antioxidants, Ceylon tea is also linked to health benefits like improved heart health and blood sugar control, as well as weight loss. One drink will surely amaze you. ☕ ❤

Love your content and have been having a great time trying out a few options from your green tea selection! What has been the most unique or unexpected tea you’ve ever tried? Whether it’s a specific style or a particular brand/year/mountain, I’d be curious to see what teas made you do a double take!

Hey Jesse! Tea noob question: how much total caffeine is usually lost during the first steep? Bc if it isnt much ill start tossing it like you do
@AstraLogical
@AstraLogical 10 ай бұрын
Tea in genral doesn't have too much caffeine ... so if you take a look online at the caffeine per gram of certain teas you can grasp a kind of idea of how much caffeine you'll be tossing out

Finnished watching the video and this is Hong Kong charcoal roasted oolong. Why is this so mysterious? Because we've been drinking green oolong for 20 years? This is been drunk in Hong Kong and most of China for 100 years. Kind of interesting in the way it's being rediscovered

Just very rare to be available in the west. And of course the time it takes is significant. Remember, most of Jesse’s audience are uneducated about nearly all eastern teas.

West vs far east... easy explanation
@Dustwheel
@Dustwheel 10 ай бұрын
@@bloodlove93it's important I think to put things into context. Especially when somebody is being introduced to the rich culture of the far East and tea. In historically, tea has always been drunk, cooked or roasted. And I think it's important to be able to have that perspective, even if it's only been 20 years since the trend has changed. That's it.
@Dustwheel
@Dustwheel 10 ай бұрын
Also keep in mind that many many generations ago green tea was thought of as acidic. So roasting aging cooking whichever way you want to put. It was thought of a way to mellow tea make it more pleasant for the body. That's pretty much the way it was always perceived. So here we are today. Going back to those wonderful flavors and that's a great thing😊
