I’m ashamed on behalf of MN. But IME you can buy your license back. It really is all about money. And if you’re willing to shell it out and jump thru a few stupid hoops, you’re good, you’ll be driving legally again in MN. He should have had the interlock system for LIFE. How he got it removed is beyond me. I’d like to say they’ll use this incident as a learning experience for others but doubt that will happen. He will get a few years sentence and out in one or less for “good behavior” and driving again I’m sure.

And to continue with my post, I’m an alcoholic in recovery. I understand how it grips you and going to jail for 12 hours and getting let out isn’t going to stop you from doing it again. It’s just not a harsh enough consequence. That’s why the second needs to be severe otherwise the cycle will just continue

Why I used to do sandblasting jobs with him working for a pool company years ago. He was on work only driving privileges back then due to DWI.
