Thanks for the fact-driven report of the 4 cars. The BMW is notably more expensive. In this market, online I found a used one with 8,000km costing €61,000 while a new basic ID.3 and even Tesla Model 3 are €43,000. I accept that 4-wheel drive models of each are a few thousand more, but day in the case of the Tesla, you then get LR as part of the package, never mind access to their charging infrastructure.

Tesla sucks though. 1. The sunroof gets hot in summer. There is no retractable cover built in tesla. 2. The rear window is useless as it's too narrow to look out of it in tesla. 3. No apple carplay/android auto in tesla. 4. Super uncomfortable ride in tesla. The suspension is stiff that everyone sitting inside the Y feels every bump through the chassis. 5. The seats are uncomfortable in tesla. You are sitting on the seat rather than in the seat. You slip from the seat so easily. 6. No HUD (heads up display) in tesla. 7. No driver facing speedometer in tesla. 8. Cheap build quality in tesla. 9. No 360 camera when you are reversing or moving forward in tesla. 10. Auto wipers sucks and barely works in tesla. wipers come on randomly while driving even though it's not raining. 11. Autopilot barely works in tesla. Does random emergency braking while travelling at 100km/h in middle of highway. 12. No cargo cover is supplied with tesla. 13. No mobile charger is supplied with tesla. 14. No type 2 charging cable is supplied. 15. Tesla keeps dropping their prices every couple of months making owners lose $ for they paid and quickly depreciating their vehicles. 16. Tesla vision is rubbish. Tesla cars do not see rubbish bins and objects due to poor vision camera systema and crash into these objects. 17. No matrix headlights in tesla. 19. No cross-alert traffic system in tesla. 20. Beam pattern on tesla headlights blinds oncoming drivers to your left. 21. You cannot open sunroof in tesla. 22. No proper heating elements in windscreen in tesla. 23. You cannot adjust the height of headrest in tesla. 24. No passenger seat memory in tesla. 25. No active massage seats for driver and front passenger in tesla.

The iX1 has strangely low voltage pack for a BEV - I'm reminded of the 300V HV battery on my old Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV which even that goes up to ~330V when DC fast charged.

😮 Awefull performance for a new “premium” EV from a brand with several years BEV experience. IX1 is more expensive then Model Y, why is the MY curve not included in the comparison?

For a 65 kWh battery it is totally ok. Not amazing though.

My ID.5 Pro Performance with software 3.2 loads faster. Often with soc 70% even more than 100 kW
