Muhammad Ali's Insane Confidence
Muhammad Ali was was one of the most outspoken, self-promoters in sports history. He said he was GREATEST all the time. You would think that confidence would be construed as arrogance, yet Ali is one of the most beloved sports icons we’ve ever known.
Today we’re going to look at what him such a remarkable man, how he was supremely confident without coming off as too arrogant, and how we can make the kind of impact he did on the people around us.
1. Trash talk like a pro
2. Be confident, but over perform the arrogance
3. Win the frame games and lead in interaction
4. Stand for something

He would have won all the bouts he won as Ali, refused the Draft for some other reason, been just as witty as Ali and gone on to make just as many friends! ali was probably one of the most humble men. he self-promoted by saying he's the greatest and put himself out there for promotion but he has never believed he is the greatest per se. he was only the greatest in competition. but it must also be said he a great belief in his abilities. perhaps he has been a bit arrogant from time to time as a natural consequence of tasting success but he has never let it outshine his character or dictate his actions! he spoke to everyone from anywhere, at any time and did not act arrogant at all when it came to dealing with human beings. he took criticism well, could engage in genuine conversation and did not hold animosity against people nor did he take himself too seriously. the mix of these qualities is a paradox to a number of people out there who have never grown out of their shell of limitations: lack of character, lack of success and lack of the experience of humility and wisdom and thus interpret the slightest sign of self-presentation as arrogance. that only goes to show their ignorance. he was one of the most respectful, most humble sportsmen I know.

His persona did not shout out academic, but he was extremely intelligent… Here is a man who fought most of his battles OUT of the ring; than IN the ring… With 61 professional fights, and only loosing FIVE times, he knew how to win with confidence, style, & grace… Also, he definitely knew how to loose with dignity and acceptance… He IS; Charisma University!!

Charisma you did a good job in explaining how ali conducted himself, it was always a method to his madness, that very few people understood! !

YES STILL THE GREATEST HE WILL BE THE GREATEST BOXER FOR EVER. Second place I think is Sugar Ray Robinson and as third best ever is Mike Tyson.

You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life - Winston Churchill. Apropos rooting yourself against the scrutiny of others' opinions. There's always going to be someone who hates you, for whatever reason. So we might as well stop pretending we can change that and just be true to ourselves and surround us with those who like us for who we really are, instead.

Sure, but we should never forget to open ourselves to people who disagree too, when confronted ideologically.

Tyson's confidence was built on intimidation. When he faced guys who were not scared of him, they beat him. Tyson's confidence was actually quite shaky and hid lots of insecurity. Completely different than Ali
