@valeriehughes1008 there has ALWAYS been one law for pakeha and one law for Maori and it has been this way since 1860. Maori end up imprisoned and pakeha gets let off with PD or a slap on the hand with a wet bus ticket. Police Commissioner two years back apologized to Maori for discrimination on TV, Police were the fall guys for Government. Institutionalized racism, oppression and discrimination by Government and its department is already documented at the U.N. What is happening now is a balancing of equality for Maori being forced through by the United Nations. Surely that's not too much to ask is it.

That does it... I smell a rat at the Supreme Court of NZ. I had high hopes for this court. I have been disappointed so far. They say "The Court found that Family First’s advocacy for the traditional family, to the disadvantage of other forms of family, was discriminatory, and this was not compatible with charity. The Court also held that it was not possible to determine whether Family First’s engagement with other issues (e.g. abortion, assisted dying and censorship) was of public benefit in a charitable sense. This contrasts with advocacy for recognised charitable ends such as human rights or protection of the environment." What the fudge? Winkelmann CJ, William Young, Glazebrook, O’Regan and Williams JJ.

It was sooo yuck. It really made my skin crawl. Despite three incidents, on public record, face no real consequences. 1. Real Estate loans (Stuff). 2. Akl. Mayoral campaign (described by Sean/Nippert). 3. Maori party support and election activity (described by Sean/Nippert). Waipareira asked by Charities Commission to pay it back.
