@@AstroEscape Yo homie. I love Pantera and Charlie too BUT all those drum sounds are 100% sample replaced. The kick is a sample. That why it's perfect sounding. No hate at all (except I didn't get this gig lol) that's the way it's done. You can see what looks like a black ddrum trigger on the tom tom right in front with a right angle 1/4" cable. Yo Charlie- Much love bro. Hear the drummer get WICKED!

He only uses the sample sound for the mixing desk operator and his own in ear monitors, the house speakers are mic'ed up to his bass , the venue gets full acoustic sound of his drums , I know this for a fact , I'm not hating I'm just clearing this up .

Dude. It’s Pantera. The live shows are a tribute to the Abbott brothers. Charlie is as good or better than Vin. Sorry. Charlie’s own style is far more technical than Vins.

I saw Anthrax last year and he was about 20 feet in front of me. I kept noticing that he kind of swings his upper body around almost like he's playing jazz. Very relaxed, just feeling the groove. I spent a good portion of the night watching him. He's a machine. So good.

Dom/Hollow sounds amazing, Zakk not quite in the pocket on Cowboys but I think there was always going to be a question how well he was going to pull off the rhythm parts….this kinda harder-edged/faster metal is just not his forte. And yeah, good to finally hear some soundboard! Overall they sound great

Just saw them at Sofi today. Never got to see PANTERA. I know its not the real one and it will never be. But goddamn did they sound good. Charlie and Zakk really play those songs to the T. I saw Charlie in LA when they played SOFI in August. This guy is mad talented. The way he finishes off CFH from 8:30-8:54 on the rack toms was a huge build up with a payoff. He did the same finish at SOFI. If I could pick anyone to play for Vinnie, it's this guy.
