William knew at such a young age that his mother was unhappy because of his father. William was there to grab her hand and help her smile when she needed it most. Such a good end scene with William and Diana. Love this show. Thanks for uploading.

@@steve0509 they talked. They were allowed to talk. It's quite possible to have contacts with other people outside your marriage and still get to know your spouse. But Camilla needed there to be no doubt about the legitimacy of her children to ensure their inheritance. Diana even said herself that she cheated first. She didn't understand that the role of a consort is not to be the star, but to support the Prince and Queen.

I'm afraid I have to go back ot Oxford to give a lecture (but actually to secretly meet hte PPM to talk about my Mother's abdication) OK, well seeing as you are the Prince of Wales and a qualified pilot, and British Airways exists, why don't you fly back to the UK by literally any one of a dozen ways, give the lecture (have your secret meeting) and then fly out to join us? We can add a few extra days on t the end and everyone will be happy. Yes, that would sovle the problem to pretty much everyone's satisfaction, that is the eminantly sensible solution, so of course I won't do it.

they're on a yacht he is note rated to fly a jet and the Prince of Wales can't travel on a commercial airliner. The yacht is a publicity trip to show the "solidity of their marriage. If he leaves without her it will make it worse.

@@libriansana8562T.V Shows, like this one, always, and will continue to consider such things. The only difference between regular television entertainment hobbyists and actual, professional and experienced producers, directors and show makers is the ability to identify what is in the range of possibility and balance that with what is available as well as the required. Unfortunate for you and greatly fortunate for those who can differentiate between reality and an exaggerated television adaptation of one of today’s most notoriously surveyed families is that the latter of individuals demonstrates basic rules of etiquette and well behaviour. Diana had every right to be upset that her husband wasn’t faithful to her. She married for love, not the title. How would you act if you knew your spouse was in love with someone else & is only married to you out of obligation?
