he chose Diana for the nod of approval, because she ticked all the right boxes, and he shouldn't have. he should have kept looking for a woman, more mature and sophisticated, who would fit his particular lifestyle, accept his "friendship" with camilla and not pick on an innocent, unworldly 19 year old. it's amazing that neither him, his family or anyone in his circle wasn't intelligent enough to know this.
