Stefan, excellent video. You’re presentation was exquisite. I lived in, and two of my children were born in the state of West Virginia, where much of the state’s history has been dominated by coal mining. It’s great to hear of these similar regions in Europe. Thank you!

Very stylish knife and enjoyable video. I am glad I found you on KZbin. I used to collect knives and I was very much into "tactical" stuff. Nowadays my taste has changed and I am more interested in classic everyday knives. Your videos have taught me a lot about those. I am now especially fascinated by the variation of french knives.

Secret process? Well, if the general process of stabilisation of porous materials is anything to go by it’s probably just put it into some type of resin, pull a vacuum, re-pressurise. The “secret” here will probably only be the specific resin type and perhaps the time each step takes…

It's not the prettiest knife you've ever showed us Stefan (nor the best-fitting backspring!), but it's certainly interesting and unusual, and beautifully made and presented like all your videos - always a treat.
