@@StefanSchmalhaus Thanks, I have been a subscriber to your channel for years. I missed the review of the Franck Ackermann knife you posted 2 months ago. The last video I saw before that was 6 months ago. I live in the U.S. so I don't know if there is content I miss or not, but no matter, I really enjoy your videos and reviews. Whether you post once every day, week, month or year, I appreciate the time and effort you put into the videos to ensure their quality. Thanks again.

Beautiful knives. Delicious cheese and sausage, with herbs and wine.... Some of the best things in life. It's nice to see more French knives being made with locking blades - I prefer them as it's one less thing to worry about when using the knife.

Stefan Schmalhaus I remember early in your KZbin career, you used to be into EDC knives and some more tactical type of knives. Then you had a brief stint reviewing American traditional knives - I loved the historical context you provided with each one. What made you decide to collect traditional European knives only? Do you hang on to all of the gear you review? A collection update would be an awesome video to see!
@StefanSchmalhaus4 жыл бұрын
@@SoupyTurtle Admittedly, I mainly reviewed French knives recently. I'm still a big fan of traditional American pocketknives though. I think I've covered the most important American knife patterns. I've sold some of my early knives (mainly Spyderco and Böker). As for a collection update, I'm afraid this is not going to happen any time soon. I'd rather put my efforts into videos about new knives.
