Charles Haughey's Ireland (Channel 4 Documentary 1986)

Made by independent company Pipeline, Charles Haughey's Ireland was broadcast on Channel 4 in 1986. It was produced and directed by Michele Kurland.It features a guest appearance from Irish stand up comic and singer Brendan Grace.In 2014 while being interviewed on The Late Late Show actor Aidan Gillen described this documentary as how he thought Haughey wanted to be seen and as an angle to come from in regard to playing the role of Haughey.

It is actually an archipelago of islands purchased from The Church by o'l Charley back in 1976... Mine now... He built some kind of Roman-Greco type house on the island that is supposed to be splendid... Thank you guys for keeping it looking well...
