UFC CEO Dana White announced Sunday that Oliveira faces Tsarukyan in a lightweight bout at UFC 300 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Oliveira, 34, still expects to be next in line for Makhachev after his fight against Arman Tsarukyan at UFC 300 next month.

I want Charles to win but I think Arman is gonna win, especially if it's only 3 rounds. Arman's grappling/wrestling is high level enough to not get submitted and he's not gonna stand in front of Charles and trade. He's constantly moving around while throwing hard leg and body kicks. Plus I think Arman is in better shape and quicker than Oliveira. So with that said I think he'll be able to outlast Charles for 3 rounds, but I hope I'm wrong

Im a GIANT do bronx fan, this is going to be a good fight I feel. Not a lot of the casual fan base knows Arman and his skill set he brings to 55. He has great grappling, even better wrestling and he’s good in the standup. Most importantly he’s young and was tested the moment he debuted. I want Charles to win in spectacular fashion to get a crack at the belt but this is a giant test for Arman because I feel as if this fight will be harder for him than his debut with Islam.
