The UFC light heavyweight championship stayed with Alex Pereira at UFC 300 with a first-round TKO win over Jamahal Hill to close out the landmark event from Las Vegas. Once again Pereira used his superior striking and one-punch power to put someone away.Pereira is now just the second fighter to successfully defend the belt since Bones. Jamahal Hill fell to a resounding defeat at the hands of Alex Pereira. In the first round of their UFC 300 main event, Pereira knocked Hill out in what was a nasty finish.UFC 300 somehow exceeded its own lofty expectations.

Mostly a bunch of delusional jokers who believe in ego and hype over actual factual skills. When you think of the comments made during fight week and way before. Super embarrassing. And they are supposedly professionals OMG?! Must be CTE and fame. They should be ashamed. You don't hear even Bones, Max, St Pierre, Dustin talking phony baloney crap like that. True sportsmen know who is real and who is hyped up beyond their "I'm levels above all these guys" (JHill) kind of absurd shi+ talk. Karma came quick and all these guys who made up insane excuses are losing cred by the minute. No longer interested in their fake commentary.

If Po'Atan continues to stay humble and improve like this, I truly believe he can be the greatest of all time. I currently place him among the top 5 who have ever fought (kickboxing and MMA). In addition to being an incredible fighter, he is a wonderful person. gebte can measure his greatness by how much the other fighters attack him and keep saying that he is. He doesn't have technique and just has great power. no one hates the weak and no one envies the failure. The more people talk about him, it's a sign that he's growing and standing out. manages to attract the spotlight without idle talk and without offending anyone. an example of a human being Brazil is very proud to once again have a star in the UFC. He generates that power all from the hips and the way he swings the rest of his body and left arm with it to land something devastating. Francis is all brute force. It's funny how absolutely wrong Anthony Smith is. Literally almost everything he said was not correct. Alex doesn't always throw the left with the high elbow, he didn't just "change the angle" to catch hill, he changed the rhythm of his hand fighting several times in the fight. You'll see him hand fight and jab to the body, hand fight some more, change up the rhythm of the hand fight, jab to the body, repeatedly. The constant body shots gets jamahal to drop his hand (even though when hill throws his left he ALWAYS drops his right hand..) and Alex changed the hand fight rhythm again and went high instead of to the body. Hill also doesn't have some crazy KO power like Smith thinks. The only clean KO he has recently is against...Johnny Walker. Someone who is hurt more than he isn't. Jamahal was disgustingly overrated coming into this. His striking game is childs play compared to Alex. He didn't just "get caught" he got set up and blasted into orbit.

Hill lost this fight way back before 300, when he was interviewed by Bisping I think or somebody else, the first thing he has to say "I will be striking with this guy" and somewhere along the line of telling him he is the better striker, that right there already shown Hill insecurity rather then professionalism, given the fact that he is a veteran in MMA in comparison to Alex, his main focus was just to stroke his ego rather then an actual gameplan.

Can you imagine the bloodline Alex comes from, ALL of a civilization being all Alex pereira’s? Like the entire tribe nothing but 6’4” absolute warriors… if I was an explorer back millenniums ago and I landed somewhere and saw more than ONE Alex Pereira, I would turn around and tell everyone on deck to reverse course right fkn now and don’t look back 🤣
