I always felt like him getting humbled in free agency lit a fire under him that made him dominate in Green Bay. He was a bit lazy in Oakland, as good as he still was in the first stint. As a Raiders fan it hurt when he left, and it hurt when he won, but he came back and I think the love between him and the fans was clear.

I feel Charles needed Don Capers and GB to mature - he became a brilliant defender that could play anywhere on the field - he could blitz, he could play man, nickel, zone, any safety positions - in Oakland he was a pure man to man lockdown corner that blitzed on occasion. His body was also taking a beating playing that way in Oakland.
