AL Davis was born on the fourth of July. He spent his birthday weekends in Vegas every year since moving to the west coast. To this Raider Faithful that made AL as American as Apple Pie. This short film was great though. When it played live and Amy Trask saw it she cried. And she shared a story I never heard or read. After a disagreement she would leave his office furious and he would sing to her “I did it my way” and she would stop and smile and laugh.

I was blown away that Al had considered Las Vegas as the ideal destination for the raiders to call home, and if that was the case then Mark really did his part to make sure that his father's wish would come to fruition, and if that is the case, then I can say it was amazing to watch Allegiant stadium being built from the ground up, though most of us couldn't be there some of you were keeping us posted with plenty of coverage at every step during its construction and to its final completion, this short movie just reminded me why I have been a fan of this franchise that has an amazing history and also the legendary Jon Madden played a big role in this franchise's history. JUST WIN BABY!!! RN4L

Al Davis Copied the Los Angeles Chargers Shield logo. The original 1960 Oakland Raiders logo didn’t have the Shield from 1960-1962. Al Davis was part of the 1960 first season of the Los Angeles Chargers coaching staff 1960-1962. Became Raiders manager 1963 then added the Shield.
