When I was a child a DeSoto was parked in our yard that didnt run . We played for hours in that car taking turns at the helm driving. I love the older ones with DeSoto on the horn , in his military garb . Thank you for bringing this stunner to us in your special style .❤

My dad stopped into a DeSoto dealership in Denver that year with all the family. I sincerely hoped he would buy a new car while there. (If so, it would have been the first time he ever bought a car new.) But he was just wanting to see them up close and wrangle a test drive. As a pastor with a wife and 5 kids, there was no way he could afford that car. Disappointed as I was, I appreciated having had the experience to inspect such a marvelous car.

Thank you, Charles, for taking these wonderful autos down the memory lane they truly deserve...your peppy presentation of each classic is a treat, too! The “Aleen” ringtone, always well-placed, is SO VERY “The Day the Earth Stood Still”! Now, be pretty and go do a ‘56 Packard Caribbean...

The cars you feature get better and better. Charles, your enthusiasm is infectious and lifts us all upward. Why can't we have glitter and style in our dull as dirty dishwater cars of today??? You need to give Detroit a pep talk! They should catch some of your spirit. All the best from Nova Scotia, in The Atlantic Bubble. God bless!

Beautiful! I loved it that they actually used to put the make of the car on the car, unlike today. AND, there was sufficient room in the trunk for a 'mother-in-law' or two!
