He wasn't some hidden artist that people discovered ten years after the fact like Big L. Many imitators during his lifetime with likes of DMX, ja rule and the countless other local artists. I'm not sure about the section 8 apartment black people who went to school with the white kids but it's cities where there's a large black population Tupac was very revered.

Tupac most famously said “I ain’t a killer but don’t push me” his music is about a good kid trapped in horrible conditions finally pushed to the edge. Not about kid in good conditions who’s seeking out to be a gangster. That’s why you rejected him because the you missed the message.

I don't think Tupac was gangsta like the gangstas we think of today tupac gangsta was standing on something he believes its true he was part of the black panther tupsc was struggling as child moving place to place he was loyal friend to have around. There is 2 type of gangstas in the world to me in my opinion there is the ones like pac and the one like king von. The stuff pac talk about a grw man over 30+ can't think of Tupac was ahead of his time. He might say thug life this and thug life is that in some songs but if you look pass that you'll see the truth he was preaching Remind me little of C.W talk his junk but there is real message in there that's the only compression.

We got to stop this narrative of Pac not being gangster. I hate how some people throw dirt on that man’s legacy. The people around Pac said that he was really what he was. Pac shot and got shot. He really went to prison. He really went against real gangsters. He really got into it with the police. If he’s not a gangster, than what is a gangster? I’m 46 and witness it all in real time. It’s crazy how black men still try to destroy one of the best men to come from our community..

Yes Pac did the same thing for me, I grew up in the hood and had access to everything from guns to drugs, it was around us in abundance but his music, lyrics was a true cautionary tale and got me away from it all. Music and movies can have negative influence on a person who is not from a certain place and or doesn’t have they’re own mind or knows who they are. But to say you get anyone bc of your actions from a movie is a bit much. That’s like me saying I hate Al Pacino bc I started selling dope after watching Scarface. We have to use our words wisely on these platforms, especially as black men

I was listening to you 2 brothers. Ol boy White wouldn't have his drive or fearless mentality if Tupac didn't show him what it look like. Some of the ideas he has is spot on. If a challenge needs to be made in rebuttal. You received your will and willingness from a person who is no longer here, but quote like you originated the concept?

SongTHUG STYLE . If PAC lyrics cause you to do something stupid then you wasn't REALLY listening to PAC ..you just had a battery in your back.. you ⛽ gas yourself up that's on you...PAC always came from a self defense point ☝️ of view.. not 🚫 I'm just go do something stupid . IN THE SONG THUG STYLE.. PAC CLEARLY TOLD YOU WHO HE WAS & HOW HE WAS RAISED UP. YEAH PAC WASN'T A GANGSTA BUT HE WAS A (G)... IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE DIFFERENT THEN YOU AIN'T 1 & THATS TOTALLY FINE but just know there is a difference.

PAC👏🏾NEVER👏🏾 SAID👏🏾 HE👏🏾 WAS👏🏾 A 👏🏾GANGSTER. That’s something you haters and tbh.. some FANS made up and twisted the narrative to either invalidate his legacy & influence or vicariously validate yourself. Either way, it’s projection. That’s not Pac’s fault that y’all couldn’t comprehend and didn’t truly understand him. If anything, he was still trying to understand himself. Don’t blame him for y’all thinking that being a “gangster” is somehow synonymous with being real. Just say you choose ignorance and move around.

What people fail to realize is,Pac never called himself a gangsta or labeled his music Gangsta Rap.If you're a true 2Pac fan, you'll know that his first 2 albums were based on Black Struggle in America. After getting shot, his music got harder and angry, lyrically.People keep saying he wasn't this or that. But him speaking up for black people was gangsta.Shooting 2 off duty policeman for beating on a black man, that's gangsta.Speaking up for black sistas, telling them to keep their heads up,that's gangsta. Making a song dedicated to his beloved drug addicted Mom,that's gangsta. If u think selling drugs in your community and killing your own people means you're gangsta, maybe u need to do some soul searching because that's pure ignorance.
