Hi Gerard, I have a question for you. (it look like youtube deletes properly formated questions, so i will ask, as brief as possible). How to keep up with technical skills? I mean what technical skills you need to focus? Because there are so much to learn, but at the end of the day, one cannot keep up. You have to have understanding of Scripting, Databases, DevOps/DevSecOps, Pentesting, Development etc, and at the same time be confident with new laws and standards. How you keep with it? What do you focus on?

Fair question, it helps significantly if you’re a lifelong learner, know what you don’t know and be transparent about it. Also try to focus on skills that align w the work you do and want to do

@@SimplyCyber Hi Gerard, Thanks for answer. I am GRC Senior working for 10k+ company. I am already spending almost 20-25 hr for self-study (Got my CISSP etc), and feel like not enough (maybe imposter syndrome). Would like to ask question about your opinion - which technical skills are more important for GRC person to focus more (based on your Work Experience) Offensive side etc or DevSecOps side? (Learning each of this sides demands at least 2+ years of effort). I just would like to enhance my CyberSec skills. Also if possible would like to ask about Scalability of GRC person over countries. I am just planning to move to USA/Canada, receiving possible offers, just would like to get your experience on skill values on that part of globe. Like what you will 100% ask for person to know for your market. Thanks.

Hey man, I was scanning a .apks file(split apk) of a modded Android game on Hybrid analysis and got this: *YARA signature "Bolonyokte" classified file "sample.bin" as "rat"* Relevance - 10/10 Threat score - 45/100 File - Suspicious But Virustotal gave it a full clean chit. Zero hits on Kaspersky as well. *What do you think?*
