@nabahmadi5012 Жыл бұрын
@@brandino9000 highly recommend. And I'm a massive Honda fan. For the street, you have a well balanced suspension, good power delivery. You have torque with a good amount of revs. It almost is really the best of both worlds. (Twin and inline 4) Brakes are nice and beefy. Looks like DC black manta 😆. If I was to be picky, I would say it's annoying to have to pull the clutch to start the engine.

@@modpup as someone with 3 nakeds including this bike, on the Speed Triple, wind is only an issue at speeds over 110 mph. And by "issue" I mean if you are going to sustain those kinds of speeds, you will need to lie on the tank. My Street Twin, where you sit more upright, over 80 is a workout.

I love my 2022 Speed Triple RS. Suspension is a bit stiff but you can tune it to be pretty great on the street. My best mod was a pair of Michelin Power 5 tires. Changes the bike in such a nice way for street riding. Plenty of grip and not as harsh riding as the Metzelers that come in it. I ride a BMWR1250R, which I confess is a fantastic bike to ride on the road, especially on twisty A roads. It is now 3 years old, but I do have niggles. It is not an easy bike to start on a cold day, the battery can go flat easily without a good run, needs a special battery charger. Also have not good used to the TFT display, and when a service is due it is covered all over (service due) except for the speedo, which is damn annoying. Also my dealer is 50 miles away, and it is difficult to get it serviced elsewhere. There is a major triumph dealer in town, and this bike really appeals to me as a trade in. Yes it has more hp, but candidly, the BM really pulls as well with similar 0-60 figure. It also tremendous low rev torque (I never take it above 4000 rpm on the road, there is no need). My one concern is habing ridden boxers a long time I do like shaft drive.

The best Triumph Speed Triple made was and is the 955i.... I own one and I have toured Canada on a Speed Triple 955i and early 1050i (hired out there). The Speed Triple 955i is definitely enough for the car clogged roads of the UK!!!! I have watched these YT reviews on the latest Speed Triple 1200 RS and smiled! I'm surprised Triumph went that far and put a 180bhp 1200 tuned engine in the Speed Triple - an unfaired motorcycle... It is only to keep up with the competition I suspect. Majority of riders don't need that power on UK roads and this latest machine is spoiling the overall image of the Speed Triple. The 1200RS is race focused, ultra stiff suspension and the motor is revvy. The whole idea of the Speed Triple was a detuned engine to bring the torque in at a low revs. So you ride the torque with no need to hit the rev limiter! It's an unfaired road machine after all. I had the Speed Triple 955i (108bhp and 72lbft of torque) flat out in Canada (empty roads) and it just "clicked" onto 143mph! I was lying on the tank with the wind blast on a still day, my helmet was being pushed back stretching the skin around my eyes so I was squinting.... See what I am saying? I personally would not buy the Speed Triple 1200 RS, there is no need for all that power and torque on a supposedly road motorcycle!!! Triumph should have put that 1200RS engine in a Daytona and left the Speed Triple at 1050cc Max! I'm a big Triumph fan but I'll stick with the best Speed Triple made, thank you.

I think that all of the motorcycle companies don't have a clue about what people really want. they think that people want naked bikes. but they don't want naked bikes. what people really want are sport bikes with fairings, but with naked bike ergonomics. they are buying naked bikes because they are sick of the modern day sport bikes that are track racing bikes with back breaking ergonomics that you cannot be comfortable on for more than a half an hour. with unusable back seats. This new Speed triple 1200 RS is an amazing bike. I love it, but you cannot use the power because anything over 70 and the wind is hammering you like a hurricane, so what good is the power. give me a bike that I can go 150 on without being hammered by the wind. and I guarantee that 90% of people agree with me. I just bought a DUCATI Supersport because it is one of the only sane bikes on the market. a sport bike with a fairing, with reasonably comfortable ergonomics. and for people who say the wind isn't bad on a naked bike. they are full of it. you can't get around the FACT that if you are going 120 mph. then the wind is hitting you at 120 mph. that is a level 3 hurricane. and a 150mph is a level 5 hurricane. it's simple logic.
