For real, the technical problems are embarassing, but the core gameplay and pacing has been far better than all the previous mainline 3D era games. I couldn't get myself to finish X/Y and Sw/Sh was a snoozefest as well. Gamefreak is almost there, just needs more presentation, production and polish.

It definitely is okay fun to me, but by how unpolished and lazily done it is kinda insulting honestly, really went outta their way to introduce an useless academy setting that gets time skips anyway just so they don’t have to design clothings for the game, despite they have 4 or 5 individual shops in town that sell only either socks or glasses, I got beef with that crap

We've reached a rough moment where people criticizing the game get annoyed with folks that still have fun playing it, not to say its charlie more the comments section, we need to be carful not demonize people who still enjoy the game while acknowledging this game series is past due for some tune ups, or rather a faster pace of them then this one step forward two steps sideways then cha cha real smooth. Folks can have fun and enjoy what's there while others discuss the issues, both of these can be true.
