I think we all know how Jax was gonna end after Opie died and he said "I'll see you later brother"
@w0bbl3r4 жыл бұрын
Just like Heisenberg, we all knew (or should have, I know I certainly did) how it was going to end for Jax. He had to die. From the very first episode. He couldn't survive. The only thing we didn't know was how and why he would die. He was a bad person. Full stop. He couldn't end the show being rewarded with a new life of happiness and fulfilment after being such a bad person. Even at the beginning he was a bad person. Much as he was trying not to be, it was him. He was raised into it. Indoctrinated into it even, thanks to Gemma. And that's what she said at the end; the only way he could deal with her after she killed Tara was to kill her himself. And it had to be HIM to kill her, and he couldn't deal with it any other way. Because that's who they are, that's what they do. He knew it, even though it killed him to murder his own mother. The end of the show always had to be him dead. Always. I knew it with this, I knew it with breaking bad, I knew it with boardwalk empire, and many other shows. But it's not the ending so much as it is the journey. And this was some spectacular journey wasn't it? And it still managed a wonderful ending, even if it was a predictable ending. It still made me cry, that's for sure, even though I saw it coming. I even knew HOW he would die (killing himself, I mean, not driving into the truck, I didn't know that) once I saw Gemma kill Tara. I knew Jax would kill himself somehow. He had no real reason to TRY and escape his life any more, without her. His boys weren't enough. He needed to be with someone, just like one of the characters said about Jax right at the start (I forget who said it, but someone said Jax can't be alone, he has to be with someone). And without that someone, he was done. He knew his kids were better off away from him without Tara to give them a positive role model. Better he be gone from their lives altogether.

@@w0bbl3r just finished binging this show and its last season. I never cried that much as I did in the season finale. Awesome Perspective. The arcs all bended tragically. But damn what a show!!!!
@w0bbl3r3 жыл бұрын
@@AKingNamedBenji I think it's a tie for me for the greatest show ever made. This and Breaking Bad, the best tv I have ever seen. And that's saying something, considering some of the absolutely incredible shows that have been made in the last 20 years or so. Some others to check out if you enjoyed this are the shield (you can really tell it's from most of the same team who made this, especially as the seasons go on and Sutter took a larger writing role in it), boardwalk empire, justified (Walton Goggins is one of the best actors of his generation, hands down, and also had a large role in the shield, and plays Venus in SoA funnily enough) and to some degree the blacklist, though that is more tame in most ways as it's more of a prime time show, with no bad language and very limited violence. Homeland is another excellent show, but kind of peaked with the first 3 seasons, telling a single story. The rest were great, but those first 3 seasons were just awesome. There's other shows of course, but these were some of the best I have ever seen, to be honest.

And after Tara's death
@w0bbl3r3 жыл бұрын
@@redneckgirl8817 Well not so much her death, but his increasing brutality and flaunting of the club rules and so on, burning bridges as he went and so on, on his path to vengeance. I mean it was alright pretty much certain he had to die. But when he held that innocent (well, innocent of Tara's murder) chinese guy and tortured and brutally murdered him, then it became 100% he could not survive and have any kind of happy ending. The best he could hope for (and the best we as the audience could hope for) would be some kind of happy or at least peaceful and mostly law-abiding ending for the club. Mayans MC show of course shit all over that, with the MC still deep in the gun business, with Chibbs' weak excuse that the transition was taking longer than they had hoped. Which was bullshit, because Jax had left it all ready to go. So the club stayed in guns because they went back on Jax's hard work, and stayed greedy for that IRA money train. Huge betrayal by Chibbs I thought, and was one of the final tipping points for me with the Mayans show. The final nail in that coffin being them firing Sutter from his own show because they didn't like him making it so dark and violent. Which is hilarious really when you watch almost any season of SoA.

I've watched many shows. And never ever ever have I ever felt this way. I feel So depressed now that it's over I felt so attached and connected to SOA I fell in love with jax and the ending was so sad and heartbreaking. This is probably the best show I ever seen.
@GrannyLaLa046 жыл бұрын
My opinion is that Gemma destroyed the gang as we knew it at the beginning. She co-conspired to get rid of JT. Then got rid of Clay. She set Jax up several times and used his love for her to manipulate the gang. Even turned him against Tara. Cheating on Tara I couldn’t understand since he said he had loved her so much for years but then it doesn’t show that he was raised with a conscience where adultry is concerned. But still he was intelligent enough to know it was wrong in his mind if not his heart. At first killing bothered him until he lost his soul. You could tell.

U can really tell Charlie hunnam became Jax in the same way Gandolfini became tony soprano. Some of the greatest acting in television history I’ve said it on every SOA video I’ve ever seen. Charlie hunnam as Jax is the epitome of Character development and he doesn’t get enough praise for it
@TeeJay-ri1pl3 жыл бұрын
@paul Anthony towards shows end yea like maybe 6 and 7 a few times but never anything noticeable that’s litterally the case for any actor outside of the states. Snowfall,House etc and etc. and no the look wasn’t the look that he was mad it’s the face any man who refuses to shed a tear makes it’s anger and hatred his eyes got darker every single time
@TeeJay-ri1pl3 жыл бұрын
@paul Anthony example the first time we ever seen that look was at Sacks wake when he saw hail and the kid get killed watch the eyes, then the next time we saw it was when he wanted to kill clay in the hospital after reading the letters again watch the eyes, then again we saw it when opie got killed the same look of course but the eyes had more pain they looked darker and he looked more empty. That’s great fuckimg acting. Like tony Montana said the eyes never lie Chico
@TeeJay-ri1pl3 жыл бұрын
@paul Anthony Bc the point was the “look” was deeper then just one look it wasn’t a negative it was the point he made that 1 look have 20 different meanings making 1 look mean something 20 times is better acting then having 20 different looks for every scenerio
@TeeJay-ri1pl3 жыл бұрын
@paul Anthony okay but tony had the same expression when angerd as well. Puffed nose damn near a light headed look then he’d snap. Similar to his panic attacks. Nobody has multiple looks for the same emotion it’s called manorisms n they captured them. I’m not comparing the 2 but I think Gandolfini was able to let go of Tony much easier while Charlie still says it’s hard for him. It’s all what u think is a better form of acting the method acting that Charlie kinda seemed to become Jax or the guys that can turn it on and off Like gandolfini he was tony with cameras on but as soon as they yelled cut he was right back to being James

Not really. Those awards mean nothing. Some shows that dont deserve em get em, and others dont. Also, on the contrary usually shows that dont get any awards but are claimed as the best shows for so many people, are precisely the best shows, it doesnt matter what two ignorant guys at the golden globe says. Again, tv has been going down to the black hole since the 2010's. Only a bunch of good shows were released since then. SoA is one of them. Also, again emmy's and those awards are garbaje. When you see shows like supergirl get emmys,..... you understand they mean absolutely nothing lol.

Jax didn't fight it cuz he probably wanted to die anyway, but the ones getting punished weren't Jax but his kids and family left, that already lost their mom too. Was meant to be beginning it would end dramatic but if you think about it Jax would easily start a new life with his kids if he wanted.
