I don't know what's more sad about this. The fact she thought she was winning and making valid arguments or the fact she showed a clear lack of understanding about the very topics she was debating. This was nuts

@karashea7823 The issue is that in a debate, you have to listen to your opponent to make valid arguments. If you cut them off or ignore their points, it nullifies your argument. Plus at the end she stated he kept changing topics when he constantly tried to bring it back to the same question and she was the one who kept jumping around, staying things that weren't directly relevant to the question on the table. Which is another issue in a debate, makes her come off hypocritical and lacking understanding. Combined with an overly emotional means of argument, which also nullifies her argument. Debates are meant to be about logic and points, the moment emotions get placed in heavily, you've already lost. Which is a major issue the left has in debates in the current Era. It's not supposed to be about emotions, it's about facts and logic

These are kids. For them to go out there and assume they know anything, let alone everything, about the world is absurd. They didn't even do it politely and civil. There's yelling, name calling, cursing and fast talkers who ask three different questions while he's answering the first. Charlie stepped into a room where everyone was against him and that takes courage and a lot of patience. I can barely deal with one person who talks to me this way.

@@justdiane5 "That's just a way to clarify" It WAS a way to clarify something in American discourse a long, long time ago, though more often identifiable by the leader "Now, just to make sure I'm not misconstruing what you're saying, here...." Since roughly 2010, it has been employed as a Saul Alinsky-style, aggressive, neck-jerking pivot away from the reality of what was previously uttered towards a ham-handed strawman delivered by the weaker of two speakers. The strategy is obvious: attempt to compensate one's cognitive and emotional inadequacies in front of an audience by eliciting artificial empathy for a sentiment that was never uttered in the first place. This debate tactic is SO transparent and clumsy in the eyes of the critical thinker sitting in the audience that it has long since become a meme: CHARLIE KIRK: "I'd submit that dogs are generally more emotionally responsive to the sounds of humans than cats." OPPONENT: "So, you're saying that cats should be rounded up, bagged and tossed into the middle of the ocean to die."

I’ve never heard anyone say blacks in a positive light. I’ve honestly never heard anyone ever say whites unless it was used in comparison to black people. I’ve heard people I say I hate white people, but I never heard someone say “I hate whites”. Nor have I heard someone say I hate blacks, but it seems more natural to say In a funny way, that’s a privilege because if you’re white and someone who’s not white hates you is because they hate you as a person. If youre black and a white person hates you it’s because of your skin color

The last question he did not get to answer fries me every time I hear it. That Black Americans built America. Why? How? Make it make sense. I mean, I hear other channels on which they built the world. Who is teaching this?
@commentator-un6gk
@commentator-un6gk Күн бұрын
Okay genius she didn't ask that, it was a statement. Also what do you mean "Why" lmao..because they did? A simple history book can tell you that. That's basic common knowledge. Even Trump admitted that it was African Americans who built this country so you're really showing yourself in terms of intelligence and how congruent it is with the people that debated Charlie there.

@@commentator-un6gk Everyone has built America together. Blacks were an important contribution. But pretending that they contributed more than other races is just disingenuous. Slavery was an INEFFICIENT system. Slaves obviously work less hard and contribute way less to society than free people. Because they don't have incentives to work hard, can't realize their full potential, and are isolated from the rest of society. This is just an obvious fact. And it's not a 'fault' of slaves or black people. But claiming that they somehow contributed more to the society while working as slaves is just plain wrong. If Trump said that and this is what he meant, then he's wrong as well. If slaves contributed way more than free people, then the confederates would've won the civil war because they had more resources available. But that's obviously not what happened.
@clwaid5407
@clwaid5407 Күн бұрын
@@commentator-un6gk Sorry, but wrong. There are a lot of people who built this country and those around the world who were not Black. I don’t know what history books you are reading, but if they start with 1619, the disinformation begins there. The United States started in 1776. Before this date, we were a part of Great Britain. However, when we declared independence, there were 2.5 million White people, 500,000 Black people who were slaves, and 50,000 who were free. Some of the owned slaves. Some 5,000 helped fight in the Revolutionary War. Your statement is impossible by sheer numbers. 2.5 M vs. 500,000. Math it out. Also, the majority lived in a small area of the South; who helped a few states but a nation? Again, not matching, but gaslighting. Yes, Black Americans made many contributions to our nation, then and now. Thomas Sowell is a living national treasure; his contributions are many. What I don’t understand is why all I hear lately is how one race created and discovered just about everything first. Did Black people build the Great Wall of China? Did Black people build the Eiffel Tower? Did you design and build Mount Rushmore? The Empire State Building? The Constitution of the United States? To think so is about as selfish as it gets, and whoever taught you differently- get a refund.
