So far, out of all the episodes that I watched of "Who Dat?" that are my favorite, it's tied between Big the Cat and this one; the first one because you gave one of your more hated characters a second chance, and this one because this feels very comfortable, with a good amount of jokes and analysis. I'm not sure how to explain it better with this one, but that's how I feel. I have no question this time and I hope you continue the good work.

He's Military. Guile is Guile's last name a well. Most military go by their last names, not their first. They only call him Charlie in America, because they felt "Nash" wouldn't have stuck for us (which i'm prone to agree with them).

So going into this video I had no idea who Charlie was, since I rarely played as Guyle, and in a matter of minutes I think you've made him a character I am looking forward to seeing in the new Street Fighter game so to say you've done a good job is an understatement. Like just getting a good look at Charlie at the beginning I already liked the design of the character and the rest was just extra layers of awesomeness. When you started conclusion one quate came to mind “Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you.” and you vcan see how that plays into his appearance in Five. So all in all great episode DiGi, you're doing great man hope to see more. Until Then.

I wonder if they went with staples in his design as opposed to stitches for the body parts because it heals more smoothly and cleanly? Like, if you've ever had stitches or staples after something like surgery, staples are much better... Having had both in the past, that's what popped into my mind, at least. ^_^ Been really enjoying these videos. Slowly working my way back through them, and you do an amazing job. Very engaging, the jokes are good and peppered in nicely as opposed to being too much or too little, and you've sparked an interest for characters I'd normally not give even a first thought to, let alone a second. One thing I noticed about where Charlie's stage is located in SF Alpha 2 (note, I was playing the Saturn version of SFA2 Gold) is that the pinpoint location is at the tip of Lake Michigan. The only big city in that area is Chicago, which I am proud of being in the area of.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that Charlie can do a one armed Sonic Boom not because he is better. But because he has a cooler demeanor. Unlike Guile he is who is more hot-headed thus needs both arms.

Very close to sealing the deal I think a large majority of Charlie's life he gets so close to his idea of perfection and never gets there. I think that's the REAL reason Charlie is so bitter is that he's a perfectionist that feels he has basic goals that he can never entirely fulfill then his death then resurrection mess with his head making his basic goal seem like his last chance for an achievement I think an intensification of this effect is what makes the Charlie that we know now...

In street fighter 4 there are a lot of references to Charlie Nash in quotes from Abel and the rival fight between guile and Abel. I mailed Abel and from then on I believe that Abel holds som significance from what happened to him in the lab when he saved Abel.

Actually, the rank of First Lieutenant is very low ranking in the airforce. Almost every pilot in the airforce is at least a Second Lieutenant besides for some more basic planes like cargo haulers. That's a major point of his character. His corrupt superiors see him as a young and naive upstart.

I honestly dont know if the comics are cannon (a lot of conflicting sources weather they are or aren't) but if you get a chance they are pretty good. one does say that durring one of Charlie's missions is when he found him. supposedly between alpha 2 and 3 but again dont know if they are cannon or not.

+That one Guy show Thanks, man! Yeah, i've read a bunch of the Udon comics (i loved them) but they are indeed quite loose in terms of official canon. There are a number of differences from the games that occur in the comics and for that reason i don't refer to them when making these episodes. Well, that and the fact i try to stick to one line of continuity as it would begin to make episodes too confusing if i start covering multiple-different continuities of the same character in the same episode.
