Never travel anywhere in Newark or Irvington without a set destination. When you do unexpected things unexpected things happen to you. Never come to a compete stop for a vehicle or people thats blocking the road. Unless your a Newark native its a lot safer to just fill up your tank in the day time..do not have your face in your phone not paying attention..you..yes YOU can and will become a victim of car jacking. Out of towners..do not come to Newark or Irvington with too much of one color..and damn sure don't wear any bandanas. These boys play for keeps all up n round through there..its not a game. If you get lost don't come to a stop to use yourngps..let a passenger do it. There is no free roam in Newark..meaning that you can't walk around freely down these blocks and side streets..alot like all of these streets are heroin and cocaine blocks..open air market cops really don't give a fk..we been here for generations and we can tell you not from over there AUTOMATICALLY..and if you don't have a chaperone something bad will happen to you. Common sense and the way you carry yourself will take you a long way..Newark is a very vicious bloody city..but 90% of it is not random..people that be dying be into shhiy

I have much respect for the hardworking people that still live in Newark (I still have family there). Idc for the others causing trouble there. I was born and raised in Newark until the mid 90’s and moved to Florida & finished H.S. and college. For about 2 years after moving I missed Newark. Now, 20 years later I know my life wouldn’t be what it is today if I had stayed in Newark. Many of my childhood friends are in prison or dead. What I’m saying is that I loved Newark at one point and yes I tell people that that is where I’m from but when I moved I learned that there was a better life for me that I didn’t know about and better from what Newark had to offer. The downside of ghettos is education. I was able to get a Better education, jobs, better real estate opportunities and a peace of mind. As much as people say “Newark is my home” majority of people prefer to be better and live better. Before people hate this post. I run into people in FL from New York and even Newark searching a better life down here. Again, much love to the good people up there in Brick City!

Nothings gonna be able to clean up Newark sadly. That city hasn't been the same since the 1967 riots. Once a predominant Jewish, Irish, & Italian area, those citizens moved once that riot took place & parts of that city ain't recover from it. Add in the drug trade that Akbar Prey & his "The Family" organization ran for over 2 decades until he was caught & convicted in 1991 had damaging effects. Hell that New Jersey Drive movie gave the city a bad rep as well in 1995. Today w the Bloods, Crips, & Latin Kings in the city along w this opioid crisis Newark is just a hell hole. The only areas of Newark that literally gets protected is downtown cuz of NJPAC, Rutgers-Newark campus & the Prudential Center

Newark is making a come back .keep watching I don’t live on none of those blocks . Our block is locked down , if you don’t live around here you will be asked nicely to leave , we all have driveways, we all know each other if your car is on the block and your not visiting it will be reported.we all look out for each other . We all on this block work hard . People like to walk down this block they said this is a nice block ,we’ll maintain if you don’t keep your front clean we will put a notice in your mail box to do so . If you have a block watch this won’t be happening. We also have a group chat and we have each other’s phone numbers. Community and unity make it happen people stop letting stuff happen we’re you live .come together it can be done we are doing it .

@luxx_interior To be fair, most Democrat controlled cities are suffering economically. Democrats have a long track-record of driving districts into complete states of urban and industrial decay. Maybe it's time to vote for one Republican representative (in a Federal or state district) to administrate one major city's local government? I mean, not every Republican politician supports Trump...
@nslozzup11824 жыл бұрын
@luxx_interior Also, I read you profile description, and it's pretty creepy. I recommend changing your outlook on life. Not every Trump supporter is a bigot. Many of them come from many different backgrounds and are of many different ethnicities.

Camden is 2nd home it's right across the bridge from south philly . Philly and Camden are practically connected by the Ben Franklin bridge I dont think ppl realize how close they are literally 5 min away from each other without traffic. Very dangerous cities
