No offence to the young lad but.... when I was 15 I started roofing. Nobody had to show me how to get 8 pan tiles on my shoulder or how to climb a ladder with them, then step up onto a lathed roof and carry them to the top and load the roof out. Yes it was a fucking graft but I did it because my boss told me that's what needed to happen. The difference in the kids today is crazy and not for the best. To young kids.... don't see it as a graft for your boss. See it as conditioning for yourself. The harder you work, the stronger you grow. 2 years down the line you will be so strong that when you start doing the lighter, more educated side of building, you will do it with ease because you have conditioned yourself to be able to work far harder than you do at that point. It makes you into a machine. That's why even the skinny builders can lift shit you wouldn't put money on them not being able to, just by looking at them.

We’ve been using a paddle mixer on all our small private jobs all year. It’s ideal. Cost £20 on Amazon and still going strong. It’s electric but always have access to power on private’s so it isn’t an issue

Is it just me or do all kids now just move slow . I’ve had probably 5 young labourers you pull up at the merchants they don’t even look up from there phone . I started a 50 year old on Wednesday I pull up at the merchants he jumps straight out what we getting then when there’s nothing to do he starts cleaning up just a different generation a different work ethic

@@merkz6988 I treat everyone right mate but there is definitely a difference I’m not saying it’s all of them of course but 99 percent of kids don’t want to work now and have terrible attitudes towards work as I said I’ve had quite a few young labourers and all of them have been the same . I started a 50 year old labourer and his work ethic is completely different

I am an electrician by trade, Followed you since Covid, given the odd negative comment, the positive comment, and when I feel feel the content is really good, very positive comment. I mentioned that your earlier content, less complications etc.. was were better, but in recent times it was too complicated. I understand that Amy, beautiful Amy started laying bricks was more likely due to being a Ltd Company/ Company Director etc.. I really enjoy your video's, but in recent times, hardly any video's, and with a New addition to the family, Totally understand. But you show video's of New Jobs, but video's never showing the end result, leading to thought's that the jobs have never been finished, But today, there is a bit showing the New Ford Ranger, heading into winter and much smaller job's than you have shown throw summer.
