EVERYTHING has been costing more than advertised! The advertised/displayed prices are normal difficulty, but Hard has a 50% premium on everything. However, it’s not displaying that premium, even though it’s charging it to me. Definitely something that’ll need fixed in the game me thinks. ;)

I don't know if you talked about this on any of your videos, but you can save on two decks worth of stairs/elevators by putting in a club. They come with built in stairs.

when diner or pub is full, use 2 for 1 special (diner) or happy hour(pub) for extra happiness to get the bigger goals

Looks to me like they go to the closest elevator to where they are, When they came up the stairs they used the left one, and when they came out of the diner they used the right one (idk if this was addressed later in the vid, at the time of comment the elevators have just been placed and used for the first time)

I noticed this as well. In the real world, people would just use which ever one was available. In the video game, they just seem to use the first one that they come up to during their travels. Might be a good idea to move the other elevator to a different location instead of having them right next to each other.....

Hi i would move the elevator's to each end of the boat that way people can move around a lot quicker depending on where they need to be.

It wouldn’t change their travel time positively. In fact, moving them farther away from services would extend their travel time, since they will move between services way more often than going to their room.

if say move the elevators so ones in the front and one is in the back. this should reduce the lengths of routes around the ship.

you should increase food and Drink Quality at your diner and Pub in the settings cog for more star rating, (not the same as upgrading the room)I believe you can also change the prices of your food and drink too if I recall.. I haven't played it in a bit. and I assume the extra cost for the ship would include all the existing rooms being switched over to the new ship so I imagine if you sold all the rooms and didn't have any to transfer over it would have been that 16000, I believe it was the equivalent to buying all those existing rooms on the new (Empty) ship

The staff passing rooms and cleaning them... also when you change shifts if they pass a room that needs maintaining they'll maintain it. Good and bad about it is if you assign them to a new job they may stop and clean rooms while heading to their new job. I'm not sure how to feel about that. I did my elevators a bit later in game and a bit more centralized. They will go to both but your setup they'll just go to one, the closest. I eventually I went back to stairs cause they are faster. Also unconfirmed but pretty sure there's a bug where they can cause staff from disappearing, a few have noted the same on steam discussions. I'll be curious if you find an effective way to use elevators. The space saving just wasn't worth the longer time it took vs stairs to me. Unfortunately, even with more variety of entertainment and such, booze and food they'll go to first. Though I think on longer routes they'll split up a bit, especially booze. Food stuff I'll do their bonuses right away, but sometimes bars later.

My setup actually works efficiently, and allows for both sides to be used regularly. The reason is mostly due to them usually using the closets one. Fitness is on the left, and diner on the right. Coming from these rooms means different side. Coming from pub? You’ll be actually coming from the stairs, so left side. - but coming from cabins? Now you’re using right side. It works well in this location,

Not sure if someone has mentioned this or not, BUT, you have a red gear in each room, click on it. It gives you options for that room, for example, you can adjust pricing in your pub or Diner. Start special events.

Tickets = ticket to ride. They pay for services on the cruise as they use them. All-inclusive = they pay once, and use services as much as they want

Noticed that the provisions were shown as being $0.80 per unit, but when you were setting your amount, the price was higher. I presume that was because you were on hard mode and it was 50% more expensive? If so, then the game should reflect that in all the displayed prices, otherwise it's misleading.

You're playing on Hard difficulty, which increases the cost of things by 50%. $61,415 - $38,915 = $22,500. Which is also $15,000 * 1.5. The problem is that the game isn't showing you the price with the +50% tacked on.
