i went on this train one week after it started, running , it was a treat to sit and look through the window ........ the cost was very reasonable . charlotte light rail as been needed for years ...... best wishes ...... i live in south yorkshire england , my family have lived in mattews for 39 years they have always been very happy xxxxxx jo

The future of LYNX: There will be more LYNX lines, like MARTA, but the Blue Line will go to UNC. The Red and Silver Lines will have a stop at the new Amtrak station in 2018.

$3 round trip? Thats more reasonable then Baltimore. Baltimore its $3.40 round trip on the Light Rail. I plan to eventually move to Charlotte NC but more likely in the Northern Suburbs.

@itsmytimenow07 yeah i heard about the unc charlotte now but i also heard that they werent doing east to west because of the budget or something? don't really remember ...

they should expand it to go up to the UNC charlotte area and maybe go from east to west too. or just make like a MARTA like in atlanta. hopefully these places wont get as scary as marta though. haha
