Double wear is a real long wear foundation that lasts longer than this foundation. I wore CT today and it lasted about 8 hours before it started looking darker and it was also wearing down. I needed 3 pumps for medium to full coverage. I still think Double wear is better.

I’ve used this foundation 3 times now, and I’m really loving it! For reference for anyone with similar skin/concerns- I have a LOT of very pigmented acne scarring, I have more combo skin these days, and I do prefer a more natural finish for my foundations! All of that to say, I am so impressed with the coverage I get with one pump! For me it is definitely on the medium to full spectrum, and it does a great job covering my scars! The finish is beautiful, definitely natural to radiant but can be dulled with powder if you want! Pores have never been a big issue for me, but with this foundation and a little of the airbrush flawless finish powder in the t-zone, I don’t see them at all! I wore it today for about 14 hours and it wore beautifully! I really feel like it was all still in tact until I took it off, and I usually have some wear around my nose/chin area which I think is typical for a lot of people! To Morgan’s point, I did use all cream face products save for a slight bit of powder, so maybe that’s why I didn’t experience the heaviness she did! Though I did touch up later with a bit of powder bronzer and blush, and it didn’t look *as* seamless, but that was also after almost 10 hours of wear already! If you’re interested in trying I would definitely give it a shot! Hopefully this helps someone! 🤗

I found using just my fingers worked really well to spread and melt this into my skin. I am typically not big into foundation, but I try everything from charlotte. On my 50 year old skin I found it to be really plumping and did not look makeup-ey at all. Pleasantly surprised so far!

I got a sample, try it on today, and I'm in love with it! I'm 35 and this foundation doesn't settle in my fine lines but again I don't use a lot, not even a complete full pump. I noticed that with Charlotte Complexion lines, less is more and very high coverage. I love watching your review ❤️ you're doing fantastic!

I'm not a fan of CT foundations and this one hasn't changed my mind. First, the shades are so confusing - I couldn't work out which one would be suitable for my light/medium olive skin. Second, the ridiculous claims on the box are absurd and messy. Third, the actual findings don't live up to those "claims". You're certainly not the only person to not be impressed with this foundation. With so many fantastic foundations on the market, why would I be remotely interested in this one? Have you tried it on its own without concealer on top? One thing I've noticed watching KZbin videos is the large number of products people tend to layer. I look awful the more products I use at once. When I used this foundation I used maybe one pump, spread with my fingers and did not put anything on top- definitely no concealer. Tiniest bit of power on the t tone to take down the shine. Just a thought I often have - heavy concealer on top of foundation is always too much for me. Always looking pretty, morgan!

I got this and was so excited to try it yesterday that I just did it with NO skincare or Primer under it. Completely bare skin and for reference I'm dry this time of year. It looked amazing!!! I was shocked. I used plenty almost to what I would call full coverage. Applied with a sponge. And the longer I had it on the better it looked. Kind of excited to see how it looks when I actually use it over skincare. Came back to add: I could see my pores just a little but I added the CT powder and pores were gone.

I think we view foundation as they all have to fit the same routine. Primer foundation powder. Truth is you don’t have to powder EVERY foundation just because your use to it. It looked perfectly fine until you powdered it. And you used two powders. Maybe this one sets itself as a lot of them do dry down. Just a thought…..

I was also very excited for this foundation. I tried it 3 days, 3 different application techniques. It just feels heavy and the lack of difference in the 3 fair shades is annoying. And just after 2 uses, I was struggling to get product out of the pump. Unfortunately it's a no for me.

I had the same issue with this foundation. It looks heavy on me as well. I like how it wears (longevity) but I’m not blown away by it honestly for my dry skin. I’ve tried it several times and it looks like the color doesn’t quite mix into my skin and it was more dry looking than I’m used to seeing on my skin. Ugh. I prefer using powder as well so idk.?🤷🏻‍♀️It looks better from far away but up close it see little dots on top of my skin. I mean what the heck? I also prefer the Estée Lauder Futurist and I have several tubes of that one lol. They will get used…still. Nothing has knocked it out of top place for me yet.

I have dry dehydrated skin and do not like powder. My skin will slowly suck the moisture out from a glowy foundation in a couple hrs. I only powder my nose and the nickel size spots on either side of my nose where I have large pores. It wears well and is comfortable. I like the Futurist too, but they don't have a shade to match me.

I think if you set the t zone with the airbrush powder instead of the magic genius powder, I think it would look far less cakey after application. I bought the magic genius powder when it first came out and it never sat well on me in the tzone and I have dehydrated combo skin.

I’m so glad I didn’t buy this. There has been so many issues with the shades from what I’ve seen so far. By the description I thought it would be too glowy and not enough coverage. I have so many great foundations and just got the Pat McGrath one and Dior forever matte so I think I’m good.

The foundation looks beautiful on camera! So it’s so good to know that up close it may not look the best. The way it looks (on camera at least) with no powder is reminding me of how the L’Oréal Age perfect serum foundation. I wonder if they would compare 🤔 That one looks best when I blend it into the skin with my fingers, so I wonder how this one would respond to the same technique. This foundation definitely was a miss not a hit for me, it seems to sit on top of the skin despite application method. I will finish it just because I spent my money.. BUT! I will be forever grateful & thankful for your recommendation of TF concealer, this guy was worth every penny!!! I am crazy oily but with crazy thin and dry under eyes - this concealer went above and beyond, no creasing, no sitting in my fine lines, I love it, looking insanely beautiful after 14 hours - this is how long I wore it today. It doesn’t look super shiny on me. I was afraid of that, too. In fact it looked matte upon application. I used Tatcha’s Liquid Silk Canvas (no moisturizer) and it looked great after 12 hours of wear - just a tiny bit of shine.

I got a sample of it and tried it. I think you put on too much lol I think it's meant to be more sheer... I only powdered under my eyes and the foundation sort of set itself so I think that's the trick but I have to agree it wasn't ground breaking. I do like that the foundation is fragrance free which is different from the EL one :)

I think a way to potentially fix this would be to set it using the Dior Powder No Powder, since the powder is traceless maybe it'd help with making the foundation look less dry.

Hmm, the review is interesting, if only to see what you consider the benchmarks. I might be ancient (yeah, I kinda am), but I'm a greasy mess. I've always had oily, flaky, dehydrated skin because the skin gods don't love me. It's okay, I'm moving on. Anyway, foundation breaking up is so much a fact of life and I kind of wonder if you aren't experiencing dehydrated skin rather than a lack of skin oils, precisely. I've found that the best look for my skin is drugstore, L'Oreal 24 hour Fresh Wear Infallible in 435, with a nice spritz of plain water mist after powdering the T zone to compensate for the dehydration. I've tried a lot of boujie foundations, but I keep coming back to the old favorite because I hate it when my foundation slides off my face while looking flaky and settling in my wrinkles at the same time.

The estee lauder hydra rescue is my favorite foundation! But as it is difficult for me to get it in the right color ( I live in Japan and they don't sell it here, and I haven't found it online in all shades) i was praying that this one could be kinda of a dupe as CT sells in beautylish. The opinions on YT is highly divided, best to get some sample and try it for yourself. For this review, i wonder if the sulhwasoo moisturizer has a role in disturbing the foundation. It is a moisturizing and nourishing product. Should experiment with different base products.

@@sydnip2235 no problem they got me on juicyjas channel and I went to what's app then they said I won at first I thought it was jas then she said I hope u don't mind paying shipping I was like what how much she said 150 I said why so much I new then but they said it's international I said u live in Pennsylvania a couple states up from me shipping isn't that much then they said no it's in Penn I was like ur a freaken scam then all the sudden I started getting tones of them this week their hitting everyone I just hope nobody falls for it I would feel awful I'm trying to let everyone I can know but it would take forever so I let the channels know so they can tell people but I don't know if they will read it. Trying to be a good human unlike the trash that is doing this. Glad u knew it was a scam.

I don't understand using a sponge for foundation. Sponges suck up. That's what they do. Fingers work better than a sponge if you don't like using a brush.

I'll pass on this foundation. The couple of creators I follow all came to the same conclusions. I have more combo skin & this will not work on my skin. I prefer foundations that you don't have to play with & babysit so much. Thanks for the video Morgan!
