My head gaskets broke in my first car. Flooded the engine with oil and it was a sludgy mess. It has been an on-going joke for 20 years that I put antifreeze in the oil. NO, I DIDN'T, BITCHES!! I may forget to turn off my headlights ALL the TIME, but I know where the fluids go! 🤣🤣

@@UnicornsPoopRainbows that's what happens when the head gasket fails. The coolant and engine oil end up mixing. Next time they accuse you of having placed the the coolant in with the oil remind them of this process

One of my mother's friends is a mechanic, and he was doing an engine-drop on a nearly-new Volkswagen Tourag (or however they spell it). Turns out the new owner didn't know that you have to get the oil changed every so often, so the oil sludged up the engine to the point that the drag on the camshaft bearings caused the timing chain to stretch. When the engine began misfiring, they finally took it into the shop.

The "Korean film" one reminds me of my time as a foreign exchange student in the US. I am from Germany and people in the US constantly asked me which language was easier to learn German (my native language, obviously) or English :D Or they asked me why I even bothered learning to speak German, because I already speak English. Some people need to understand that even though english is a widespread language, each country has it's own language, sometimes even several official languages. There are African countries that use more than 200 different languages and dialects at the same time, depending on the region. It's like the concept of learning and using a second or third language besides your mothertongue is a strange concept to many Americans...in Germany you can't even graduate from highschool without having learned at least two foreign languages. I learned english and spanish in highschool and then chinese, turkish, arabic and vietnamese in addition to my studies in university. In Europe it is really common to speak at least two languages fluently and often times even more than that. In my opinion this leads to a better intercultural understanding. Language reflects so much cultural identity and you will only understand another culture, if you understand the language.

The lady in the town center being interviewed and saying she never leaves the house reminded me of an event in my life; my hometown had a dinky little weekly paper. One of the things they did was wander our one shopping center (now increased to TWO!) and do 'people on the street' interviews complete with a photo of the person. Guy asks me "What is a habit or thing people do that really bothers you?" and I replied "Smoking, it's a disgusting, filthy habit and should be a hanging offence!" They quoted me verbatim and in the picture I'm not only holding a lit cigarette you can see the pack poking out of my pocket. I lost my copy of the paper but 20-30 people called me howling with laughter.

Fruits are technically fleshy seed bearing parts of a plant, so they would also include bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc. Now, vegetables are other, vegetative parts of a plant: leafs (such as in spinach, lettuce etc.), stem (asparagus), root (onion, carrot). But, like in most other languages, fruit in English colloquially means 'sweet thing from a plant' and vegetable 'not so sweet or savory thing'. But, technically, the first explanation is a correct one.

In my opinion, that's the problems when things are taken for granted and over-generalization. Flying - definitely bird. Swimming - definitely fish. Beautiful - definitely kind hearted. Botanically, there is no such thing as a "vegetable". A watermelon is a melon, a potato is a tuber, a carrot is a root, eggplant are berries, broccoli is a flower, spinach is a leaf, (I can go on an on). I graduated in 1983 (waaaayyyy before Photoshop in case you were wondering). The "editors" of the year book literally took flesh colored white out and dabbed it on kids with bad acne. It was horrific but also I laughed until my stomach hurt. I still laugh to this day! Luckily I didn't have acne so my pic was fine. HYD is Hyderabad. It is one of fastest developing cities in India. It’s located in Telangana that’s a state...like you have province in Canada. They speak Telugu. It is famous for its food and IT sector. It is historically important too. And I don’t live in Hyderabad but I have lived there. Now you know what HYD.

No, it's strictly related to part of the plant it originates from. If it originates from a flower, it's a fruit, otherwise it's a vegetable. Fruits typically contain seeds, while vegetables do not - they are leaves, stems, roots etc.

True, sometimes I totally feel something should be in a video about jokes no one understood instead. And some of them have actually been in the wrong place.. like the whole "I hate it when my gf/bf takes photos of me" -thing where you can see from a reflection they're the one taking the pic themselves.. there is an original to it, and it was so hilarious, huge amount of people recreated it as a joke. And then people don't know they're made for laughs and they end up in videos of people getting called out instead. And no one knows they're laughing at someone being stupid, when they're the ones who don't get it right. It doesn't matter tho, they're still funny. (Not saying I can tell the difference, sarcasm is hard, if you don't know the person or the story behind it.)
