Just in case you were confused (like I was the first time): Its alluded that the Cleaners were created sometime after the mess that they got into in the season 3 finale. I wish that the cleaners had directly mentioned this because even though the Charmed Ones became aware of that mess, plenty of viewers were confused as to why the Cleaners didn't intervene in that mess if they existed. Funfact: At 26:53 when Wyatt makes the dragon combusts with blue, white and orange orbs, he is using a hybrid of orbing and molecular combustion. If Paige had replicated Piper's power instead of Prue's to fill in the empty power of three spot, it would have looked like that. (For Phoebe's its stated she'd actually orb into the vision).

So this episode is good, it actually is a 24 hours before episode but it uses the magic element to show us yesterday, EXCEPT that it creates this major plot hole for all the others times magic got exposed and of course the death of Prue. You had asked where the muses were when Prue was killed and I was like "what about the cleaners? It's literally their job"And it would have been easy to fix by saying that their position was created after the last time when "all hell broke loose"😉. But at the Daryl and tribunal episode they say that they are watching the witches from the minute they got their powers. I remember when I first watched this episode I was like "why does this feel weird" that's the feeling I get when a plot hole is being created, the same I felt in some episodes of "friends". Anyway I enjoyed your reaction.

Aww, it's sad that you mentioned Prue this week, given the news today. I think some plot holes in shows bother me more than others. It's funny you mentioned "friends". Can you think of any plotholes there?

@@ahatfulofreactions1414 I know dear , I know it's stupid to cry for people that you haven't met but I cried when I heard about our "beloved sister Prue". I really thought she could make it. Anyway, about "friends" I always mention this plot hole that unfortunately involves another person who has passed: chandler and Rachel meet for the "first time" three times! One in the pilot, one in a flashback where the coffee shop is a bar and one in the Thanksgiving flashback with Monica.

@@ahatfulofreactions1414 just want to share my final thoughts on the sad issue, my depression has made me a nihilist so despite being a fan of witchcraft I don't actually believe in supernatural and afterlife but sometimes I think it would be nice if it was like with grams in the show who seems to be enjoying her death or like in greek mythology where you could visit the dead in the underworld.sorry if it's weird to talk about a heavy subject but I got a little sadder than normally today.

For me this is one of the worst episodes of the show and for me its the episode that showcases why not binding Wyatt's powers is so irresponsible and dangerous. Wyatt is literally the most powerful witch of his generation, to the point he can conjure a dragon from TV that rampages throughout the city, which probably killed many people. There's no way the dragon didn't considering the climax of the episode literally looked like an apocalypse. The show tries to use the excuse of "they didn't know they had powers and grew up with them" but like their circumstances were different from Wyatt's just binding Wyatt's powers wouldn't mean following the same steps their Grams did to them. They have knowledge of that fact and could just tell Wyatt that he's a witch and can have his powers once he's old enough to control and understand them. Piper herself can't even control his powers. In Season 4 they had met a kid who could project fire with his mind and asks for his powers to be bound because it was too much for him to handle. The negative effects of these are constantly shown throughout the show. Not only does Wyatt keep misusing his powers (three episodes later he literally uses them to scare off Piper's potential dates, which risks and exposure issue) Or in a Season 7 episode he keeps orbing his baby brother away out of jealousy. But Piper later complains that his powers make him unable to have a social life. If someone wants to argue that he needs his powers for defense, then just bind his active powers and keep the force field problem solved. They can literally utilize spells to do anything and could easily just come up with a spell to protect Wyatt. None of them are strong enough to keep Wyatt from misuing his powers. It also just makes no sense given how deadset Piper is on normal life, she constantly complaints whenever someone is using their powers just to do things like opening a door, and she wants a normal life but vehemently refuses to bind her baby's powers even though it's proven he can cause lots of destruction? The normal life mantra eventually became a drum beat. It was repeated because that's her character, but isn't explored in any meaningful way or used to develop her further all she does is complain about how any little inconvenience is ruining her day or act horrible mean spirited toward Leo. Which is why she became one of my least favorite characters after Season 4. Not only that Phoebe is SO obnoxious in this episode (and from Season 4b onward tbh) but this is the apex where her Empathy power proves to be obnoxious. Its a cool idea for a power and allowed for potential for Phoebe to utilize it to connect with people on a deeper level or exploit emotions on a whim, but all she ever does with this power is complain about everyone around her having feelings and that it inconveniences her own, or uses it to insert herself into other people's situations. She doesn't even learn how to control the power it just gets solved for her by everyone else taking a potion. Or she just serves to repeat and explain about how other's are feeling, even when it clear that is the feeling they are expressing just by looking at them or listening to their dialogue. Yet she somehow never seems to actually pick up on cues to read people that would actually be helpful for them, such as telling when someone's lying or finding info through emotions. She doesn't even use their powers to influence her readers in an impactful way, since all her column stuff amounts too is being told how great she is, but never shown (and when it is shown its just generic love advice) like there's never a time where an innocent being in need relates to her column, it just feels like padding for an episode and as an excuse to make Phoebe just Carrie Bradshaw, which is most evident in Season 8. I also don't like the Cleaners, people like to headcanon they were created after All Hell Breaks Loose, but the show doesn't make that distinction clear. They could've just had a line that served to validate that. I also don't like the Charmed Ones in this episode, Piper is so entitled thinking they wouldn't dare do anything to them, its basically like telling a cop you wouldn't dare to be arrested for committing a crime. I also think it misses potential for a great message, having the Charmed Ones should have learned to become more responsible, except they solve it b doing something irresponsible and saying they can get away with doing the wrong thing because they are so important, that's so unheroic. Also Paige's plot was weird, I like the idea of wanting her to help someone from their bad boss, but how she goes about it literally defeats the point of what they just learned and is personal gain. She uses magic to glamour herself to look like Flo, then uses her powers to assault the boss with a flower pot, which doesn't really solve the issue, she basically just framed a woman for assault and likely costed Flo her job.

Honestly, my biggest problem with this episode is the issue of the cleaners, because of the huge error in continuity that it implies due to what happened at the end of season 3... besides the fact that I don't like the idea itself, I think that downplays the issue of taking care of their identities as witches, of not exposing magic, why would they do it, if the cleaners are there to solve it? By the way, I just found out about Shannen Doherty's passing, it's very sad... rest in peace.
