OMG! I think we are sisters from different mothers! We seem to be about the same age and grew up with fathers involved in politics (though mine was limited to local). McCoy and other old pottery, lots of baskets, collections of things we can’t throw away. I won’t have a wonderful house like that but I certainly can make my potting bench area into a much nicer place to work. I can’t thank you enough for introducing me to this very special woman who has inspired me tremendously! Kathleen from Denver

So fun hearing the stories. I've been catching up on a podcast, "70 Over 70." Where the host interviews 70 people over 70 years old. Today I listened to Dan Rather, Dionne Warwick, Norman Lear and a few others while I worked in the garden (trying to eradicate the invasive weed, creeping bellflower, before I plant 3 'Bloomstruck' Endless Summer hydrangeas). Great wisdom coming from those people. I need to get my McCoy vases out of the cupboard and on display. I recently discovered one big vase I inherited from my grandparents (about 24" tall) is a McCoy.
