Okay, I think I can answer a few questions with MY view on things. When people are asleep for the first time, a dream dimension is created specifically for them. Part of their conscience is projected into the dimension and they can control what is in their dimension and how it works. They're also given a guide (Owl.) and a supposed assistant (Nights). It may even refer to age. If you're young, Nights comes along and helps you fly, but when you grow up, you learn to fly on your own. Nights is more of the training wheels of a bike. If they have nightmares, they appear in the dimension as the Nightmaren. Both Nightmares and Dreams may affect this world.

Nitopians came BEFORE Chao though so that makes sense. Also the Night Dimension itself exists and is real and has locations, but the little towns and changing areas are considered Nitopia, created by visitors with Idyea. It’s confusing I know, but the dimension that NiGHTS, Reala and all the “Dream Cast” live in is real, and then the visitors create little worlds in that larger world like pop up stores.

Man charri i really want a NiGHTS sequel. I had Ideas for a new NiGHTS game. Such as custom characters and daydreaming. The makers of NiGHTS said that they wanted to let the players feel close to NiGHTS by making her a dream. I have a few choice words to say to that. We are going to forget our dreams because thats how ot works, if we have custom characters, then ot's easier to keep the memory there. Then again thats only if SEGA and sonic team pulls it off right. I don't want them pulling a sonic forces on NiGHTS, where the custom character is amazing bit the gameplay and game length is underwhelming. Also I have a question for you, what NiGHTS design do you like more, Sega saturn NiGHTS, the modern design, or the christmas design. I think there was a Halloween NiGHTS too but I might of been misinformed. Either way it would give all the more reason to make NiGHTS a horror game.😁 Also sorry this comment was so long.

The concept is that nightopia is a dimension that is different to different people (the thing is that some other games and stories do this concept much better)

The argument is kinda dumb, as Yuji Naka himself said NiGHTS was genderless so that the character could be enjoyed by all and act as a 'shadow' to the player. Digi valentine worded it best. "If you think Nights is female, you are correct. If you thing Nights is MALE then you are correct. If you think Nights is both male and female you are correct! If you think Nights is the flippin Hubble space telescope, then GUESS WHAT BRO, YOU ARE CORRECT!"

There's definitely an LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) being used here, I think it's maniulating the pitch? I'll toy around with some settings and hopefully get back to you on this

you should have gone with also the things to substract the sins for the beautifull stages the boss battles the entire soundtrack the true ending sequences Claris and Elliot for the dream drops and add sins for the strange nights transformations the concert mission (i love the song but it was a hell of a mission to get an A) the my dream system was poorly done, nothing as near as a chao garden the personas not having the twinkle dust not being able to replay the course after getting the key just to do an score attack like in the old game

For the first game, I always thought NiGHTS was a dude, but just built with a slightly subtle feminine figure, physically and fashionably. In this game, however, it's definitely a lot more feminine, physically and vocally. I realize it's supposed to be genderless, but if they really intended us players to determine its gender from our own individual perspectives, they made it a hell of a lot more difficult to do so this time around cuz it really just comes as a female to me in this game, as opposed to seemingly male in the previous game.
