But we aren't inferior. It's genetics. We don't have any control on the genetics we're granted at birth. They may not match how we feel as we get older... but that doesn't mean we are inferior. Some things we can change, some we can't. We have to try and accept the things we can't change. My height doesn't bother me! I actually work with loads of short guys at work too.

@@peaceisnature ​ @RandomRob isn't that kind of the point? being inferior implies that it is inherent to you and cant be changed. like if you are 5'5 and below thats kind of an extreme anomaly like someone with a severe genetic defect would have like crohn's disease or dwarfism. Maybe not the best word to describe it so genetic defect would be more accurate.

I'm 4'10". I wear high top shoes with almost 3" shoe lifts literally every single day. I just don't know if I'll ever get over it, because even when I was presenting as female, I HATED being short. It made me so angry and upset just thinking about it and every time I couldn't reach something and someone helped me, it just destroyed me inside. It still does. I had to wear flat shoes for a play I was in, and I took a picture with a cis male friend who is only like 5'7" max, and I looked so small next to him I wanted to die. Haha

I'm 5ft tall. In fact, I'm 0.4cm shorter than 5ft bc I'm 151.6cm but I am tiny, and right after chest dysphoria, height dysphoria is the second largest issue for me. It has been something I've had an issue with for 5 years since I stopped growing at 13 and I'm 18 now. I'm 4 inches shorter than my mother and 7 inches shorter than my dad, and a lot of my family members, especially male cousins and uncles are over 6ft tall. What makes it worse is that I haven't come across any trans guys, irl or online, who are my height. Most 'short' trans men are 5'2 and 5'3, and I would give ANYTHING for those extra 2-3 inches that they have.

Yeah mate I thought I was 5'2, no turns out I'm barely over 5 foot with trainers on it's my biggest issue, chest is second since at least that can change. The thing is my best female friend is 5'8 and has literally said if she could she would give me three inches cause she doesn't like being that tall.

I laughed so hard when you mentioned germany =D I'm from germany and I'm 160cm (which is like 5.3 or something I think). And you're absolutely right, alot of guys here are waaay taller than me. And I noticed that american guys are usually quite short - at least for northern european proportions (even people who are considered to be 'really tall' like the Hound or Brienne from GoT... I know at least a dozen people who are their height and they're not even remotely the tallest on the street). Although my height dysphoria isn't too bad, I think I would love that part of living in north america XD

Im ftnb and im 5'1" and I have always felt like shit about my height. Almost all of my other friends of any gender are taller than me so it makes me feel really singled out. I try to go along with jokes people make about me being short but its always triggering my dysphoria :/

I'm 5'2 and I hate it sometimes. Sometimes I'm ok with it tho because people think I'm 12 and I feel like I'm about average for a 12 year old boy so it helps me pass as a pre pubescent guy. When I start t I think I'm going to really really hate my height tho. I got lucky with my feet I'm a men's 8. Also to anyone around my height I see guys My size every day it's not uncommon to be small. My cis brother is only 5'5. I'm lucky I'm even 5'2

looking for a place to rant about this: I'm a 7.5. I don't have foot dysphoria but the only problem with being a 7.5 is that men's sizes start at 8 but kids sizes end at 7......... so I guess I just don't get to wear shoes then...

I have also always had height and shoe size dysphoria, even though I'm 5'65"-5'7" and also have 6,5 in mens shoe size, but I've started to slowly accept that I can't change any of it. But it has also helped seeing cismen who are as tall as I am. Not only that but I've been told many times that I pass, even before I had come out as trans, so that helps too I think. What I'm trying to say is that it's nice to see you being positive about what you have. I think a lot of transmen appreciate that. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that you're a great role model.

I don't know my shoe size exactly, but I'm wearing men's shoes between size 6 and 7, and size 7 is generally a little too big- I'm always bummed when size 7 in a pair of shoes I like is wayy too big and the shoes don't come in any smaller sizes. :/

Oh my goodness, LOL!!!!! I have to laugh because I have had this problem for my whole life. I wanted to grow up and be (and I kid you not) 7'11 1/2" and if I couldn't be that tall then I would settle for 6 foot even. Unfortunately, I only managed to get to 5'4" tall. I was very disappointed and still am. However after having both of my knees completely replaced I did get an extra inch so I made it to 5'5". And I say I still have a problem with it, that's only when someone teases me about being short. And by the way I too wear a size 6 1/2 in men's shoes. And you can get them in that size if you costom order them. I know Adidas, Nike and Reebok all do this. I can't believe how many things we have in common. And I wish I would have found your page along time ago, instead I found you just months ago. And you and several others have helped me through so many things. I am 53 years old and just found out that I can finally change and be the man I always wanted to be since I was 2 years old. Thank you and thank all the other great people that have helped me. lol hot dysphoria 🔥 same I’m 5’3/5’4 and I used to have height dysphoria sometimes but now I don’t care cause I pass all of the time and cause I feel like it makes me fit in more with my peers to be shorter as like 70% of the kids in my school are girls. It’s also really helped me with my confidence about my size by having a male teacher who’s the same size as me. He’s a really good role model for me and I think looking similar to him has helped me to feel good about myself.

I'm a trans girl so I know I can't relate too much but I'm 5'8", which is well above the average for cis women. It kind of sucks because there has been times where I was the tallest girl in a group and stuff like that. I'm grateful I'm not taller but I certainly wouldn't mind being shorter (around 5'6" would be ideal, as it's not super short but not exactly tall either).
