do you put your contact info on your camera equipment incase lost?

Wow. It's easy to forget while watching just how difficult it is to film yourself from so many different angles and perspectives while doing an activity like this. Really stellar filming and editing.

Wonderful video. I know these types of videos are not easy to put together - it is appreciated. Always learn something from your work.

I’m only 2 minutes into it so far, but I have to stop the video and say wow. Amazing camera work and perfect editing. What beautiful scenery. Thank you for taking us along.

Some really cool shots in there, nice work. I get obsessed looking for lost stuff in the bush! Glasses, cameras, bags, etc.., been there.

BRILLIANT way to make getting down from the upper trailhead not suck! Good on you sir. Although I likely couldn't get out on a bike.

I love this area, hiked and overnighted in it a few times. Unfortunately it’s closed again due to another wildfire in 2022 I believe. When it opens up I plan on a bikepack. Caught a few fish by the falls on the fly rod. Always a good time there. Liked the video a lot. Looked like a good time.

What a beautiful area to explore. I think my soul knows that I need to live in a place like this. I just need to figure out how to get my body there someday. 😊

Looks like if there were trout in that stream they'd be pretty small. Try fly fishing with some small nymphs and you'll get into some fish!

I love catching a nice rainbow trout, cleaning it, cooking and eating it. If it’s the right season, picking fresh berries and enjoying them for dessert is always a plus

Really felt the solitude of that trip alongside with you! Thanks for this video. Well done. And glad you found your camera, it’s an awful feeling losing a camera on a trip!

Every video is just so good. The only problem with Chase's channel is that he doesn't post often enough. I revisited the van build yesterday for inspiration on my own conversion.

Damn, aren't you ever afraid? sleeping alone in the woods, even without tent. Big respect.

At times it can be a bit nerve wracking but I find it’s a good experience to have on occasion. Makes you appreciate the security of a home and other things we take for granted.

Great stuff! I wish I could find these places in VA. Couldn’t help but wonder why you sat on the ground instead of the logs by the fire pit?

I really like the mixture of photography, the closeups, panoramic views, you on the bike moving through the woods, the soundtrack-it all works so well together. Too bad about the trout! Maybe next time.

That was a great watch, thanks for sharing! btw, how do you deal with bugs? Mosquitoes love me and I feel like I would die out there without a picnic tent of sorts.

Great video. Such a nice adventure. Do you not have to worry about bears where you are? I would love not having to worry about my cooking area and the smell of food.
@ChaseChristopher12 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Paul! There are black bears in the area but I’ve never had any problems myself. Cooking away from camp wouldn’t be a bad call though!

Wow, that was stressful watching you realize your camera was lost. Great that you found it again and it still worked! Another excellent video. I notice you're in the Sub again; did you sell the Tacoma? Maybe I missed that. Cheers from Boise.

Hey man, I'm hoping to do a road trip across Canada in my Subaru Outback this Summer. My plan is to go for a couple of weeks to a month and I was hoping to do it all while sleeping in my car and exploring the backcountry. Do you have any advice on how to find places that you can camp that aren't actually designated camping sites?

@ChaseChristopher12 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Tyson! I really like it. It packs down so small and seems pretty weather proof. It is a bit odd to get into a bivvy if you’ve never done it before.
