Bad blocking, poor offensive playcalling, poor schemes, wide receivers not winning, Caleb not reading the blitzers properly, Caleb being inaccurate to open guys, weak runing game. Good news, he hasn't thrown any INTs in a while, bad news, he's holding the ball and missing throws away from the defender. Like that pass to DJ Moore with the 3 hitches, he faded the ball so far from the defender DJ couldn't get to it. There's just so much wrong with the offense design.

That’s what happens when they draft a rookie, while also having a coach who if they do not win, he will be fired. Rookies need to just let it rip, trust your eyes, and if you make a mistake so what. Learn from it, move on, improve for the future. Caleb was being coached to not turn the ball over and stay in the pocket no matter what, you heard flus say it several times in the pressers. The same thing happened with fields last year too, they refused to use his legs the first half of the year and wanted him to try to dominate from the pocket when that’s just not the guy he is. @@charlesfinnegan7930 he's beaten two teams that at least pose a threat in the Bengals and the Cardinals. The Bengals have underachieved but Burrow still brings it most every game so the other QB generally has to as well. The Cardinals have overachieved and are by no means a great team. They ARE, at the moment though, a playoff team if the season ended today. But to me Daniels just seemed better from the get go. Better attitude was the big thing for me. He's out there having fun and enjoying every game. I know that's easy to do in his situation right now but he displayed that in college too. More humility, and just as much of a play maker if not more so. Teams really ought to try to consider attitude and maturity level with a potential franchise QB as much or more than just skill set. They need the skill set, typically. But they need the mental side too. Years ago, he's probably still out there, but there was a guy that literally had a test based on personality type that was supposed to be predictive of whether a QB could succeed. I think the test came afterward but I want to say that still somehow Joe Montana was deemed to have the personality type to succeed. Maybe it wasn't Montana. I remember it predicting that Chris Simms would not do well and he didn't. No test is of course 100% but it would be interesting to see how Caleb Williams and some of the other rookie QB's, including Daniels, would do or even did on it.

The bad thing is I don't know that he can. It started before he was a rookie. He showed it last year when they lost to Washington and he went crying in his mother's arms and said he didn't know how to act or what to do basically because he's never been in the position in which he's not going to the playoffs or playing for a championship. I mean I don't want to bash the kid as he is still a lot of ways a kid and adversity either builds character or destroys someone. So far he's shown more of the it will destroy him quality. But that doesn't mean that he can't grow and turn it around. But it's on him to do so and it starts with being more receptive to advice like say CJ Stroud was trying to give him in Week 2 and he was entirely uninterested. Bad thing is he probably doesn't get a lot of good advice in Chicago.

There is no creativity in the game calling which is allowing the defense to tee off on a weak O line and thereby the QB. Caleb needs to sit for a few quarters and get his head unscrambled. He's thinking too much and not just letting it flow. He's got "happy feet" and he's missing targets. I guarantee you he didn't play this way in college. Look at what Washington did, starting the same day the Bears blew them out last year: trade away any pesky talent that might win you games, get the pick, get rid of everyone, hire new staff to maximize the incoming rookie, Bob's your uncle. That's what the Bears should have done too. And it's not even because Eberflus is a particularly bad coach. It's just that you have to sync people up to the #1 draft pick and the future of the team. I decided ok where would I be looking to throw the ball here. I got a perfect 100% based on what you said. If I can read a defense and know where I want to go with the ball w/ 0 experience and not even knowing the play call then I'm sorry Caleb just outright doesn't know what he's doing.

Bro can you come out a retirement and sit with this kid… makes no sense that a retired QB can see all these flaws and those paid professionals maybe can see them but has the inability to have this translate into action on the field…why the bears man… just why 😂

Good news today! Waldron has been sent packing! We will all learn how Brown handles this offense but I promise the first time he calls a handoff to a backup lineman on goal to go I will scream. lol!

This is another example of a draft pick being wildly overrated combined with an offense that wouldn't even win a Pop Warner game. Not really going to help him by firing the OC because of your "offensive minded" HC is still there to further erode Williams confidence and crush his prospects of learning anything useful. Good luck Caleb, you're well on your way to becoming the next Mac Jones, Justin Field, Bryce Young.

To my untrained eye, are the routes too long for CW to hit? Why not make his game all about short passes? Never think about long stuff - yet. And tell him it is ok to be an interception machine! He needs to get used to throwing, not standing.

God the bears are awful packers 45, bears 6. It's gonna be a jersey burner.

I'm not saying Caleb Williams is without his flaws, but he seems like a decently competent QB. So when he starts his read progression completely on the wrong side, I have to think this is coaching.

These decision errors by him aren’t being made in a vacuum. I guarantee you these same mistakes have been made over and over in practice ever since training camp. Peyton Manning and Tom Brady will enter the HOF by using one simple concept. 1-2-3- THROW!!! It’s either a completed pass or throw it away and on to the next play. It’s not rocket science to teach quarterbacks to do this.

What I am seeing time and time again is wrs not getting open due to poor concept and execution. Routes are taking too long to develop and the offensive line isn't good enough to hold up that long. Caleb has taken a ton of sacks and it's made him get "happy feet" which is affecting his accuracy. It all flows together and right now, it's all a mess. I blame Ryan Poles. If they were serious about changing the culture of the bears and becoming a team with a legit offense, they should have dumped Eberflus this past offseason (which would have been completely justifiable) and brought in an offensive coach. Now, Caleb will be going into year two with a brand new coach and offense, starting all over. Same thing they did to Mitch and Justin. Same old Bears. Sorry, Caleb. You drew the short stick.

Bench Caleb Williams and play Tyson Bagent

Caleb does not want the narrative he can’t accurately throw the ball hence the sacks he would take a sack over an INT
@evilwestsidefan92492 күн бұрын
Caleb generational crap, he should not have started this year he is a rookie and needs time to learn and become acclimated. If we want a chance against GB we need to start Bagent, Csleb practice is over

What does it say about the GM who drafted him?
@RVY13088Күн бұрын
@@JackMarchetti29 that he's lazy and believed media hype. That a quarterback who can run around in the backfield like a chicken with his head cut off against Pac 12 defenses with no one in Chicago who has shown any evidence or history of developing QB's would work out well in the NFL.

Zero doubt. The offense didn't play well in that game but still got them at a 90%+ chance to win with 20 seconds left.
