When I saw what he did against a very good Louisville defense I was thoroughly convinced that this young is a very unique special talent at the QB spot ..his pre snap reads are truly next level.. and it seems like this Miami team are perfectly happy to match you score for score if that’s the game you want to play.. regardless of the defenses shortcomings this offense can light you up with 40 points at anytime ….

The thing is there's only ever been to 2 players that play like Cam that have been successful in the NFL and that's Aaron Rodgers and Pat Mahomes that's it, there's been multiple players with the playing style of Shedeur Sanders that have had success in the NFL and that's why I lean to Shedeur as the #1 QB because his game translates to the NFL more, Shedeur reminds me of Burrow, Stroud, Goff, Geno Smith, Russel Wilson etc. That said I do think Ward can be elite and if its not Sanders I want my Giants to draft Ward

Great teams win games that they shouldn’t. Average teams lose those games. The Canes’ main weakness is their secondary. Hopefully, they can improve. I don’t know if Cam can take them to a title against the few elite teams without better play from the Miami defense. However, the team is sure fun to watch. The funny thing is that Ken Dorsey won a title with a generationally great team around him. Can you imagine what Cam could do with talent like Dorsey had?

I think Cam is the most interesting QB coming into this draft. He has a few downsides (decision making being the worst) but if he handles some of the mistakes and learns from them, I think he could be elite. The ability to stay calm in the pocket and some escapability could translate particularly well coming into the league and while not being the fastest QB in the game, his dual threat capabilities make him difficult to cover if he has at least one reliable receiver

The first play he had a massive open pocket and hit a crosser. Its not that impressive. The second play he has another good pocket and runs himself into trouble. Third play is good but lacking zip on the throw. Fourth play he nearly throws a pick because the pass is so floaty. Fifth play is good but I don't get the side arm. Sixth play ge stares at his first read for like 5 seconds and throws a weak floater.

I don't like what I see. Bad throwing motion. Throws the football low at his shoulder level. Looks like the throwing motion of a baseball player. His passes will get batted at the line of scrimmage because of this. A lot of his throws are lollipop throws. They lack velocity. He's just a mediocre prospect. In most NFL drafts he'd be drafted past the 2nd round. This 2025 NFL draft class is weak compared to prior years.

I don't like this QB class, Ward and Shedeur are the only two worth a damn and the rest are Day 3 picks to undraftable. But can anyone beat Ward? Yea, Miami just hasn't played great competition and won't until the ACC Championship, and even then still won't. If they were in the SEC, they'd have three or four losses already. Ward is a great talent, but if he tried half this shit in the SEC he'd be a turnover machine, so that to the NFL is even worse. Ward and Shedeur are like late 1st to 2nd Round guys, but will be heavily inflated because of the class being so bad and there being more than two teams who need a QB.
